Everybody knows that something happened
Maybe it's me avoiding you in school like the plague
Or maybe because my spot is gone at our table
Maybe it's the looks you give me when you think I'm not watching
Everybody knows but they won't tell you
Maybe it's because of the tears I shed for you at recess
Or maybe it's because you're hanging with the
Playboy
Maybe everyone knows because you're turning into your old self again
The one who caused all of us that pain
You didn't change
You just stopped being your true self
The one that I loved
The one that I still love
If only you would come back to me
But everyone knows that won't happen
You're too far down that rabbit hole
Everyone knows that I have to move on
And everyone knows it's going to be hard
