Chapter 2: What...The...Heck?
THAT NIGHT
I got a text...
Austin: Hey babe, thinking about me?
Me: Absolutely!
I was being sarcastic... sort of.
Austin: Good cause I need to ask you a question. Can I continue?
Me: Sure, what is it?
Austin: Can I come in, it's cold out here. And by the way, cute top!
Me: Of course, I will be right there! Why are you here?
I heard a rock hit my window. I got up from my bed and looked out my window, I saw Austin.
Austin: We need to talk. Can I come up?
Me: Sure.
I rolled my eyes. He climbed up the vines that were outside my window. He came through my window and sat on my bed.
Me: So why did you come here?
Austin: I was wondering if you want to tell me why you kissed me?
Me: I like- I mean love you Austin.
Austin kissed me. I want to be his girlfriend but he will need to work for me. Everyone has to.
Austin: Do you want to be my girl?
Me: Austin, you will have to work for me, show me you really want to date me, show me you want me.
Austin: How?
Me: Act like I am the only girl in the world give me all your attention, be nice yet funny, make me feel special.
Austin: You are special.
Todd: Hey Christian, did you talk to Austin today?
Me: Austin, I think you better go...
Austin: What were you going to tell me today?
Todd opened the door and saw Austin. He backed away and I saw fear in his eyes.
Me: Austin go!
I yelled. Austin left.
Me: Todd I-
Todd: Dont talk to me ever again!
He ran into his room and slammed the door in my face. I knew it was wrong to kiss Austin. I knew I would have to tell Todd, just not today! I went into my room and laid down on my bed. I got a text, Austin.
Austin: What...the...heck? What the heck just happened?!?!
Me: We will talk about it at school tomorrow.
Austin: I didn't know that Todd still lived with you. I am so sorry!
Me: Just go to sleep.
Austin: I can't go to sleep, I need you here, with me, in my arms.
Me: Goodnight Austin.
Austin: Goodnight beautiful!
I cried myself to sleep that night.
