Whitecap! I remembered I was talking about her and shrimps backstory a while ago but never posted it so here you gooooooooo!
Shrimp and Whiteout grew up in a lower-class town on the outskirts of the Seawing kingdom. Their only guardian was thir father, Otter. He told them storys and tried to lead them to beleave they were royalty. He told them he and a Seawing princess had fallen in love when he was serving as a guard. They had eggs together, and the princess tried to present them as fathered by her husband. When the secret was revealed by her husband, Otter had to escape with the eggs as quickly as he could. He forced the eggs into hatching 1 month earlier, having no big effect on whitecap but leaving shrimp deformed. As a dragonet whitecap loved these stories but shrimp ignored them. When Otter died whitecap left her home to reclaim the crown from her great-aunt, a horrible queen and the only other female royal Seawing left alive
