Chapter 1: "Are jou happy, mein Birdie?"
"O-Oh..." Gilbert said, not sure of how to respond to his lover.
"G-Gil, wh-what will we do?" He asks, studying Gilbert's mixed emotions on his face.
"V-Vell, liebe," He choked out, trying to regain his composure. "Vill jou keep zhese kittens, our kittens?"
"I-If you think we can handle them..." He said to Gilbert, wrapping his arms around his lover's neck loosely, his ears perking up.
"I zhink ve can, liebe... I'm sure ve can..." He says, giving him a reassuring smile.
"O-Oui..." Matthew says, standing, and Gilbert stands with him.
"So zhey're in jour stomach, ja, Birdie?" He asks him.
"Oui, they are..."
"How many do jou zhink zhere vill be?"
"Around two to five... Only four more months, amour..." He said, sighing as he looked down at his stomach, a little bit of flab on it.
"Are jou happy, mein Birdie?"
Matthew smiles shyly before answering. "Of course I am... We're going to have children, mon amour..."
