Chapter 7

Dinner went well, we all had a nice conversation in English, but ever now and again grandma would slip and go back to Swedish it was funny to watch Peter get all confused again, I sighed and set my dishes in the sink "want me to wash them?" I asked grandma but she shook her head and told me to go, I hugged her and headed to my room where Peter was sitting on my bed phone in hands, I took a soft breath San sat next to him "hey" I said softly and gave me a little smile

"Hey" he said back and put his phone in his pocket "so?" He asked I gave a soft chuckle "what should we do?" He smiles "I ummm maybe you could teach me a little Swedish?" He asked a soft blush on his cheek, I bit the inside of my cheek and gave a small nod "maybe a little bit..." I said and pulled out a note book "well what do you wanna know first?" I asked he gave a sheepish smile and looked down

"Well ummm how about...hello" I giggled "that's easy it's hej" I said he smiles

"hej" I nodded "what else?" He thought "goodbye?" I chuckled "Hej då" he smiled and nodded "Hej då....it sounds so cool" he said with a grin

We went back and forth for a while before he took a deep breath "okay okay I got it... Mitt namn är Peter; Det är trevligt...att träffa dig" I set my book down and nodded "that's amazing now...can you remember that?" He shook his head "I think i'm going to need the paper it is written down on" I nodded and tore it out handing it to him "alright but don't lose it" he nodded and tucked it into his pocket "so you know 'hello' 'goodbye' and how to say your name and that's it's nice to meet some one" he nodded "my brain hurts so let's stop" I laughed and nodded we both laying back on my bed and he sighed looking at my ceiling while we stayed in nice silence

"Todd" I looked over at Peter who was looking back at me, he gave me a soft smile "do you think..." He bit his lower lip and took a soft breath and moved a little closer taking my hand in his, that's when my heart started to pick up speed. He gulped and held my hand tightly "would you...g-go on a date with me?" He asked softly, I took a light breath and closed my eyes for a moment I cleared my thoughts and soon opened my eyes squeezing his hand "y-yes" I said to him, he grinned back at me "r-really?" He asked sitting up, I nodded and sat up with him "y-yeah" I said a blush making its way up to my cheeks our hands still attached, before I knew it we were hugging.

I slowly wrapped my arms around him and hugged back closing my eyes, I don't know how long we stayed like that but...if i'm being honest I never wanted it to end...it felt just..so right to be held in his arms. I kept my eyes closed while we hugged and before I knew it he pulled away and took my hand into his "h-how about we go to the movies tomorrow?" I opened my eyes and gave him a nod "y-yeah that's sounds like f-fun...what should w-we see?" I asked god I was nervous! I've never been in a date! He chuckled "well how about to choose when we get there?" I smiled and giggled nodding "y-yeah that sounds good" he smiles softly and let go of my hand pulling his phone out "hello?...um yeah...I ate already....yeah I can.." He sighed and hung up the phone "I've gotta go. I need to get milk and kitty wants me to hang out" I nodded and watched him get up "I'll pick you up tomorrow at ummm 4:30?" I nodded and stood up giving him a hug "s-see ya" I said he hugged back and soon pulled away

"Hejdå Todd" he said with a smiled I giggled and waved as he left, I closed my door and sat back on the bed grabbing a pillow and covering my face before I screamed into it. I HAVE A DATE WITH PETER!! Me! Todd! I have a date of my gosh! I pulled the pillow away and smiles hugging it tightly

I can't wait!
