A werewolf I am guessing a future alpha rejected his human mate when he finds her which happens to be her first day at the new school. Making her think he is probably just rejecting her existing in it and not as his mate.
The human girl makes friends with a member of the pack which she deals with pain she has no idea what is causing it or why it is happening to her. Her werewolf mate sleeps around causing her physical pain, giving her bruises over her body, it goes to far when it lands her in the hospital with her parents horrified.
Her werewolf friend sees the ambulance outside of the house and her being wheel out, out cold. Not long after he tries to warn her
