Where my feet take me is not safe.......or is it?

Maya's POV:
The cell they put me in was like a real prison cell. It's not just one cell in a room with the police officers desk In the front of it. This cell was among other cells with real criminals.
Once you walk in all you see is one skinny long hallway with cells as walls.
Cell to cell.

Once I got in my cell I noticed 2 more people waiting for me. But they weren't police. They were my new roommates.
Yayyyy!! Ughh I sound like Riley. Damn I miss her
"Stop thinking about her" I whispered to myself but apperently It wasn't quiet enough bcuz the girl with the scar on her face and two buns in hair asked
" stop thinking about who blondie?"
"Huh? Oh um no one" I said as I came out of a daZe
But she just looked at me like that was the wrong answer.
"I'm penny but they call me peaches. And this is keke" she said pointing to the brunette with two braids in her hair and hella big muscles. she looked like she wanting to strangle me but instead she just reached her hand out for me too shake so I did. When I let go I said
"I'm maya hart, you can just call me maya. Hey, My best friend calls me peaches. Well ex best friend"
Then Unexpectedly keke admits
"I used to have a best friend but then she turned out to be a back stabbing bitch so I actually stabbed her in the back. that's what she gets for t-" but peaches raises her hand in front of keke's face to make her shut up.
"We're not talking about you rn keke. We are talking about peaches 2.0 aka maya" peaches says while letting her hand fall.
"Now peaches 2.0 what happened to you and ur 'ex best friend' " she Asks. At first I wanted to lie but what's the point. I'm never gonna see these people agian. I hope. Plus maybe they can help, I need all the help I can get.

So when I finished explaining the whole "Riley, maya and Lucas situation" I also told them the whole josh situation too. I thought I would regret opening up to strangers but surprisingly I didn't. There advice was reAlly wise.
Peaches said
"Don't let one boy come between u and ur best friend. I mean from what I can tell is that you 2 are very close. Even if you 2 said some things you regret. This won't get resolved if you guys just sit around. I suggest you too talk it out."
Then keke adds
"And about the Josh kid. He seems like he really loves you"
"Yea but how do I know he's not gonna leave me?" I asked
"Oh trust me boo, if a 17 year old collage student skips a class for his future career  to go to high rschool class and confess his undying love for you is real love. He's not going anywhere" She answers
"Plus, if you have the mindset that everyone's gonna leave you then ur not living life my friend. I mean I only known you for like 30 mins and I can already tell ur a risky Adventurous girl. U can't  be that kind of girl if you hind behind fear. Especially if fear is getting in the way of being with someone you actually love." Peaches explains.

There words actually got through my mind. These are the kind of people I need in my life. Well minus the criminal record. But Right b4 I could thank them a police officer interrupts our conversation
"Maya Penelope Hart ur aloud one phone call"
Then he unlocked the cell and leaded me out the thin dark hallway.

When we reached the phone I automatically pressed in josh's number. After what peaches said I realized I can't wait any longer to be with josh if I want him. I cant picture a world without him. He's the only one I trust to see me like this. Well Riley was the number one but I'm pretty sure she doesn't even want to see my face. I'm such a screw up, I never meant to loose my best friend......I can't face Riley like this . I can't disappoint her again. But The only one I can face is josh cuz Ik he wont judge me no matter what situation I'm in.

I whispered the numbers as I pressed them in
"Please pick up, please pick up" I wished as the phone rang.
1 ring....3 rings...5 rings....6 rings.
After 5 rings I knew he wasn't gonna pick up but I still stayed on the phone to hear his voice.
"Hey you know what to do.*BEEP*" I didn't know what to say. No words came out, just tears. I slammed the phone on the receiver and let more tears come out.
"Fuck! I lost him for good. And I wasted my only phone call. Whatever, my mom wouldn't even have the money to bail me out anyways" I said to myself. I thought the officer couldn't hear me but he sure did so he said
"You can have one more call but that's it!"
I was overflowed with joy so I quickly dialed the number of the only person who can get me out of here and also give me justice at the same time.
"Hello um is topanga there" I said once Corey answered.

I didn't even have to go back to my cell bcuz topanga and Corey got here within 5 minutes. As soon as they got there, topanga busted in yelling
"Do you have any idea how fired ur gonna get!! This is not only injustice but it's breaking the law! Oh get ready to get ur ass sued!"
Topanga was so heated that Corey had to drop off the bail money, grab topanga by the waist and carry her out. It was a good thing he did, she looked like she wanted to grab him by the neck and strangle him

The car ride was silent but once we parked I was surprised to see they brought me to there house. Topanga saw confusion in my face so she said
"I figured you wouldn't want to go home alone since ur mom is working, so you can spend the night"
I figured she knew me and Riley had a fight so she also brought me here to fix things with Riley. I bet she's in there waiting for me with her arms wide open. So I turned to topanga and said
"Thank you topanga, for everything"

Once I entered the house the first person I saw was Riley
"Sweetie!" I yelled
"Peaches!" She yelled as we ran into each others arms
"Are you ok!?!? I heard what happened!!"
"Yea I'm fine, but you won't believe it there was this blonde and brunette! and the blonde was called peaches And the brunette was named ke-"
*BEEP*
"Oh hold on its Lucas" she said while typing
"What does he want?" I asked
But Riley just had excitement bursting out from her eyes
"He's downstairs! He's bringing me to a  surprise late night movie!" She yelled as she bursted out the door.
As I watched her leave I had that feeling again. The feeling where I just want to run. Run to Canada. Run to japan. Just run and never come back. How could she fucking do this is to me again? Leave me once agian in the time I mostly needed her?  B4 I even knew it My feet started to run. And I let it guide once more.

As I was running I felt rain drops fall on my strains of hair. But I had to just keep running cuz my feet wouldn't stop.
"Get away from everything" I kept repeating

When My feet finally stop I didn't find myself at my house, I didn't find myself in the library but instead I found my self on the front steps of Josh Mathews apartment , soaked with rain and tears.

I knocked once then twice then a third time. No answer.
As I turned away to run again a voice stopped me
"Maya?"
When I turned around I saw Josh's face staring back at me and I said

"i called you at the police station, but you didn't answer..I-I thought I lost you and I don't ever want to loose you. Listen, I was lying about not being ready to be with you.I AM ready to be with you. And I don't give a fuck if we are three years apart. I just lied to make sure I don't get hurt when you left me for someone better but then I realized if you actually do love me then you wouldn't leave me. I mean you fucking risked going to my school to tell me that you was in love with me cuz you couldn't hold it in anymore if that's not love idk what is. The thing is thAt wen you admitted you loved me I didn't know what to do. I was over thinking. I kept asking myself 'What if you he left me for someone else?' That question just messed me up and got in my head but tonight A couple of friends helped me realized that ur not like everyone else. You won't leave me. And I should of known that. But i was just so hurt by what Riley was doing it just fucked me up..... What I'm trying to say is that I want you Josh Mathews. I want to be with you. I'm in love with you and I always will be."

In that very moment he gently ceressed my cheek bone and kissed me
"Oh here comes the Sparks again" I thought to myself
I can feel his hands slip down from my face to my waist. I can feel the tingles reaching up my back with every touch he lays on me. Sooner or later I felt his hands grab my thighs and pick me up like a feather.
Suddenly the door closed behind us and are back slapped the bed sheets.
Josh Mathews is now mine and I am now his.
