I pulled the pie tin from the fire and removed the covering I had put on top
A beautiful apple pie was born
" What the hell" castiel called from behind me
" what"
" How did you make that pie we are literally in the middle of nowhere"
" I have my ways Castiel Novak and we are somewhere in the magnificent country of Canada, where moose,maple syrup,and hockey rule also Jonathan Toews has a really nice ass"
" wha- never mind I'm not even gonna ask"
"Pie..." I sighed contently starting and my beautiful creation
" Bitty from check please much?
" Yeah and are you my jack zimmermann?"
" Wait you understood my reference!?"
He asked looking shocked
" yes smart one"
He grinned
" Yes I'm your jack zimmermann, now what's the pie for?"
" I was going to ask you if you wanted to go out to the lake later and eat some pie under the stars."
"Yes"
" yes what " I grinned
" I'll go out with you"
" i didn't ask you yet" I stuck out my tongue and he rolled his eyes
" so Castiel Novak will you go to the lake with me and eat my fabulous pie under the stars"
" Yes I will Dean Winchester"

After the sun had set I grabbed Cas' hand and led him to the lake stopping where I had set a blanket down earlier.
" this is beautiful Dean"
" I know Cas"
" Do you want to know who else is beautiful"
I felt my cheeks heat up Cas you sap
" Who?" I asked innocently
" Me" wait what
"You're so romantic Cas"
" I know right"
We ate slowly savoring each taste
" Holy shit!" Cas Yelped out of no where
" What is it Cas" I questioned thinking something was wrong
" shitty reminds me of Sam"

My eyes widened

A true genuine smile appeared
" I love you too"
I leaned over and kissed his cheek
" after you say I love you you're supposed to kiss the person on the lips not the cheek" said the darkness it took me a moment to realize it was Sam
" SAM!" I spun around
I took off running after him with cas trailing close behind
" Come out, come out wherever you are, you moose"
" well dean this is a moose's natural habitat here in Canada, he would know it better than you, for all we know he could be right behind–" he was cut off when I screamed as something tackled me
" last I checked moose don't tackle people" I pushed Sam off who was doubled over laughing
" that was the best scream I've ever heard"
He screamed high pitched mocking me
I hung my head in shame
I guess I'm not the super tough macho quarterback....am I
" don't worry dean I'll protect you from tackling moose from now on"
" wow cas my real Canadian Mountie in red apparel"
" what" he asked squinted his eyes,puzzled
"You get it Canadian Mounties wear red , and we're in Canada, and you're protecting me ."
" Oh-Ohhh" he started laughing.
