Me: could you please say that again?
Person: didjdjdmskaisjdjdmdkdk *is mumbling and talking fast*
Me: pardon me?
Person: aksksmskwndndndnd *is mumbling while back is turned, and doesn't even adjust how clear their speech is*
Me: please speak more clear, I can't understand you.
Person: *screams* CAN YOU TURN YOUR HEARING AIDS UP?
Do I even have to explain why this is unacceptable? Do I really have to?
Okay, I get if a person is trying to suggest that you turn up your hearing aids just to be helpful, but it's different when someone tells you to turn your hearing aids up only because they are tired of repeating themselves.
There's a huge difference between the two, and DO NOT get them mixed up. Seriously, don't. Do not get mad at someone that is being polite and is trying to help.
