Naming the walkers

Woah. Update. Yo.

So today is the 27 of October and let me say that was one hell of an episode.

Carls pov:

"Hey Patrick. What are those girls doing over there with Lauren." I point to them near the fence.

"I don't know dude I don't pay attention to what they do."

I give him a glare.

"What. I don't really care."

We walk over to them.

"Hello Jim, Steve, and Christina." Mika and Lizzie with many other little girls wave to the walkers through the fence.


"What the hell is going on here?" I ask them.

They all stop waving and look at me.

"He said curse word Lauren." One of the little girls said as she held onto Lauren's shirt.

"One second girls. I'll go talk to him about the use of naughty language." Lauren winks at them and they start to chuckle.

She starts to walk over to us.

"What the hell is wrong with you Carl. You don't swear in front of them." Lauren whispers in my ear.

"Well what are they doing?"

"They are saying hello to the walkers Carl. It is not that bad."

"Yeah it kinda is."

I push past Lauren.

"Hey!" She yells.

"Why are you guys naming walkers?!" I ask them.

"They were once people." Lizzie says stepping up to me.

"But they are dead now." I say back.

"Hey Carl calm down." Patrick says to me.

I ignore him.

"How do you know. They are still people just because they are dead." Lizzie says.

"Carl just drop it." Lauren says as she starts to drag me away.

"Fine whatever. Just know that is not right." I say to them.

Lizzie roles her eyes and goes back with the girls.

"Wow. Carl. Really?" Lauren says to me.

"Just leave." I say to her.

"Hey Patrick ready for soccer?"

"I'm going to pass. I kinda am in to story time." Patrick says as he starts to head in with the girls.

Lauren starts to walk towards the prison.

"Wait. Lauren." I call out.

She stops.

"What Carl." She asks.

"I'm sorry about lashing out."

"Carl it's fine. I understand."

"So maybe do you want to see what this story time is about. Everyone seems interested." I say.

"Yeah. It's kinda weird, Emily and Brittany have been going to it." She says back.

We start to walk towards the prison.


Lauren's pov:

We are in the story room and we are hiding behind a book shelve listening to Carol read a really boring book.

The guy in the room nods and leaves the room.

Carol continues to read but keeps looking up.

She throws the book and roles her eyes and pulls out a black container.

"Okay guys so today we are going to learn about knifes and how to use them." Carol says to the kids.

I look over at Carl who had his mouth open in shock.

He looks at me.

"Can you believe this." He says.

I cough.

"Kinda. It helps." I say.

Carl stands up and runs out of the room and I sprint after him.

"Please don't tell Rick about this." I hear Carol faintly say.
