Lauren's pov:

I slowly open my eyes and get up to sit up from my bunk.

I look around and nobody else is awake.

What where is Carl?

I hear someone snoring from below me.

What?

I look over the edge and see Carl sleeping.

Of coarse he would pick right there to sleep.

I put my legs to the ground being careful not to step on Carl.

He looks so peaceful when he sleeps.

I wish he could sleep forever. I creepily smile. But instantly start to laugh from my thought.

I see Travis.

Now he is hot when he sleeps. He has no shirt on!

I just kinda stood there and watched him for a little.

I mean nobody is awake so nobody knows how creepy this is.

Someone grabs my leg.

I quickly look behind me and see that Carl is hugging my right leg. Also I may add in, he is holding it pretty tightly.

He snores loudly.

Crap he is still sleeping.

"Carl" I yell whisper.

"Get up!"

He switches sides taking my foot with him.

"Damn you." I say.

I try to get my leg out. I face Carl's face.

"Come on really!" I whisper.

I lose my balance and fall right on top of Carl.

I fall on my knees.

It looks like I am straddling him.

He wakes up.

His eyes open.

"CRAP!CARL THIS IS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. I FELL!" I could feel my face getting red.

I get up instantly.

"Oh it's okay Lauren." Carl replies.

"Oh."

I just kinda stand there awkwardly.

"Goodmorning beautiful." Travis says as he raps his arms around me.

Woah did he just call me beautiful? I blush

"How are you on this fine morning?"

"I-I'm great thank you." I stutter.

"Should we go get some breakfast?" He asks as he lets go.

I shiver from the warmness leaving me.

"Sure!" I reply.

"Hey Carl. Do you want to come too?" Travis asks.

"Sure man." Carl says.

Great.

We walked down the stairs to see nobody in the kitchen.

"What time is it?" I ask Travis.

We looked at the worn down clock.

"It looks to me. About 5:38." I say.

"Well what is there to eat?" I say as I bend down to look in the cabinets.

"I found some Lucky Charms!" I say holding them up.

"Great! I think there is some plastic bowls in the cabinet." Carl says as he grabs the plastic spoons and gets the bowls.

"Yeah! I can't wait to eat. I haven't had these in a long time." Travis says as he sits down.

I sit down and Carl passes around the stuff.

*after they eat...and clean up all their stuff*

"What should we do?" I ask Travis and Carl.

"Maybe we should go outside and take a walk." Carl suggests.

Travis and I look at each other and nod.

"Why not?! Why don't we bring some knifes just incase we get lost." I say.

I grab a draw string backpack from the ground and packed 3 water bottles, 3 apples and knifes. But Carl brought a gun. Just incase.

"So...where should we head? Also I might add in. We might want to hurry so no one sees us." I say.

We being the smart people we are climbed the fence instead of opening the gates.

"Which way should we head?" Carl asks.

"Maybe that way, where that town is." Travis say as he points.

And we are off.
