Chapter 20

Chase's POV

I needed to get a grip of myself. Seeing Clara had made the pain in my heart grow, I need to get her back. I felt more determined than ever now I knew she was alive. I leaned back in the car chair and breathed out, I can do this.

I started the car and wondered if Lor and Dean went on their date or not, I was hoping not just because it would be weird if they got together... My two best friends? I classes Lorelai as a best friend after such a short time? I think I did, I could talk to her about anything and vice versa, we had a laugh and joke sometimes and when it’s silent between us it doesn't really matter; she is defiantly a best friend. I smiled even though this was a hard time I had made a new great friend. Now I would get my little girl back and everything will be perfect.

I drove as fast as I could without getting stopped by police all the way home and I quickly ran into the house "Lor?" I shouted "Dean?" I heard a noise from the kitchen I walked in and saw Dean sitting staring at a half full bottle of beer

"Dude, I'm so sorry" he didn't look up from the bottle

"Its fine" I shrugged

"I shouldn't have said any of that, I love Clara but I just snapped, sorry" he apologized again

"Seriously its fine. I know where she is" I told him excitedly

His head shot up "Clara?"

"Yeah, she's at the Green woods"  

"Why would she be so close?" Dean shook his head "something’s up?"

"I don't care just that she's close" I smiled "where’s Lor?"

"She went home about an hour ago"

"Home?" I was shocked.

There was no need for Lorelai to go home half her stuff was here and her parents had just gone on holiday or something?

"Yeah her Mom picked her up I think" he told me

"Her Mom is away you idiot!" I ran my hand threw my hair

"What? She never told me?" He stood up "where has she gone?"

"Green wood’s" I shook my head

"Why would she do that?" Dean exhaled "this is so fucked up man, so fucked up"

"Call Freddie get him to meet you here as soon as he can and be ready for when I get back"

"Wait! Chase?" Dean shouted at me as I ran out the house getting into the car.

We needed help; I couldn't go in there alone with Dean and Freddie they would be toast I had to get help from those who live this life. I threw the door open and didn't bother searching the bar just heading towards the corner "well well well, look who we have" Devin spat out

"Lorelai needs your help" I didn't really want to speak to him at all but for Lor I would do near enough anything.

"Lorelai needs help or you need help?" He raised an eyebrow at me

"She went back to him on her own" I told him getting tired of his presents already.

He looked at me shock written all over his ugly face "what? Why?"
