Selena's POV:

"Nobody." Justin answered.

"Okay." I said with a fake smile.

"Truth or dare?" Justin asked.

"Truth." I replied.

"Who do you like in a romantic way?" Justin asked me.

"Um nobody." I lied. If he won't tell me, I won't tell him.

"Okay." He said nervously.

We didn't talk the rest of the time, we just stared awkwardly at each other.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked.

"Sure." I said taking the last bite of my pizza.

When we got into his car, my phone started ringing.

It was Max, one of my friends from school.

"Hey." I said into the phone.

"Listen Sel. We have been friends for so long, and I wanted to ask you something that I hope won't ruin our friendship." He said which made me feel nervous.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. I just stared at Justin who was paying attention to the road.

"Hello?" Max asked.

I continued looking nervously at Justin who finally turned around.

"What?" Justin asked.

I didn't reply, I just kept staring at him and my phone.

"Hello?" Max asked again.

"Can I answer later? I need time." I said politely to Max.

"Sure." He said and I hung up.

"Who was that?" Justin asked.

"My friend Max. He asked me to be his girlfriend." I said.

Justin's face turned mad, and he started speeding a bit.

"Uh Justin! Why are you speeding?" I asked worried about what would happen if he didn't stop.

"Cause I want to." He said and continued.

"You're just mad cause max asked me to be his girlfriend." I said which made him get more angry.

"Well are you going to say yes?" He asked.

"I'm not sure yet. Are you okay with it?" I asked.

"You don't need to ask me." He replied.

"Well I didn't know if you were going to be okay with it.. Since I thought we had you know a spark or something.." I replied.

"Well yeah we did but your stupid friend Max had to ruin it." He said angry as he opened the car door.

I got out of the car and nervously smiled at him.

I then walked inside the house, and then ran to the bed.

Suddenly the door opened, Justin. I don't know why I'm so surprised since he lives here.

"Hey." I said and he lightly smiled back.

"So are we just friends?" He randomly asked.

"Well if we aren't, then what are we?" I asked.

"Well I thought after our date we were turning into something, but nevermind. Go tell Max yes and pretend nothing ever happened between us okay?" He replied. I can tell he's really jealous.
