For His Pleasure

Chapter Sixteen

           Patricia wrung the handkerchief in nervously while trying to think of a plan. She had to stop Godric from boarding a ship without revealing her part in Victoria's disappearance. The unpredictable storm had given time. Yet she was not concerned about Misha's ship. His ship had sailed through the worst of storms on route to his homeland.

     Patricia jumped in fear as the door of the carriage opened. She sighed in relief as Kathy stepped up and took a seat. The carriage was hidden easily out of view by bundles of trees that Patricia's driver had carefully maurved through by taking a road no one traveled anymore.

    "Your son is in hot pursuit and not just for his sister it appears. Melissa's driver has been discovered in a barely old dug grave that was washed away by the heavy rainfall that fall upon us. Godric is under the impression the handsome Russian has taken her as well. Sorry I failed you old friend. I didn't know what to say to detour him away from that notation without releaving anything. This bee had nothing."

"Thieves must have gotten to her for it couldn't have been Mishap. That man and I had a plan that involved only my daughter,"Patricia said angrily. She picked up the fan in her lap, dropping the handkerchief in the process, and proceeded to fan herself frantically.

    "A sweet kidnapping that might result in love and marriage. Hopefully all will get a chance to bloom without interference,"Kathy said as she shook her head at the pot they'd cooked that was close to boiling over and being nothing more than a mess.

    "I can't have Godric know I purposely knew,ploted,and planed for his sister to be taken. I am certain he wouldn't understand. We've been plotting this for months. My daughter needs to know what love is and stop living in the past."

    "She is in safe hands but of course Godric won't hear any of that. Thus we'd reveal our part of we said that to him,"Kathy said as she rolled hers and fell back in her seat dramatically.

           "If she wasn't I would have never ploted with the man. He will make me a fine a son in law if Victoria opens her heart to what  Misha has to offer. The man is madly in love with that girl."

       "We have to figure out how to stop Godric from interfering with that you know."

    "True indeed! My son and daughter will not see my way of things if they find out I was involved.  They both just can't live forever as they do."

     "Missing out on the important things in life."

      "I say Kathy I can't watch anymore as Godric walks around with that mistress that wants to be his wife. Although I shouldn't be one to judge considering my own past. Then again there is something about Melissa I don't trust. I have seen plenty of women like her before with an agenda that taste like sour grapes. She will not be apart of this family if I can help it. Lastly it seemed all some perfect when this Bella came along and the possibilities."

   "Oh well then queen bee I want might want to add a piece of information. I can't decide if it shall lead to good news or bad."

      "Don't keep me waiting. Hurry and tell."

      "Firstly Godric is not alone on his journey. He is with the lovely Bella. She is only traveling with him to find a ship to take her to her sister.  So there is no possible way she will stay and it would be cruel to force her to stay. Also I believe she may still be with child. She still has that silly little illness. "

  "Don't tease me old friend. Are you certain she is still with child?"

   "Unfortunately I can't be sure. She claimed it was the result of a fever. Godric nursed her though this supposed fever. Bella did tell me after I nagged heavily before she departed the details of how this woman went about it to rid her of the babe. Saddly I have heard of that method before. Successful if done correctly and yet the woman might have been a fraud. Here is why I believe this woman is one that method she used is not done anymore because it causes too much blood loss. To rap it all up Bella should be and would dead. So I suppose that means Bella is still carrying your grandchild."
