Under a blanket of stars
I lay and dream of dreams
Of still waters and ponds alike
even of violent streamsMy view of paradise is paradise still
As I lie and lose what is real
Lest the skies fall down and the earth's asunder
Paradise is still paradise as far as I can rememberBut paradise wouldn't be what it is
Without that color of yours
I clutch the grass and then ponder,
Will paradise ever disclose its doors?I gather my thoughts and ask myself
Is what I feel now really true
Maybe this is what love truly means
Maybe I'm just crazy for youWill paradise be forever colorless
as I am without you?
Girl, don't keep paradise waiting
Cause my paradise is youAs the pianos sing a hectic tune
and as singer's voices fill my ears
I plead for the air to bring you back
So return, and dry my tears
