Here is a list of do's and don'ts of writing on Wattpad, which you must know! A lot of them will be explained earlier on in the guide.
DO fan others.
DON'T upload lots and lots of stories, as long as you've finished a few.
DO vote, read, comment...it will make an author's day!
DO leave messages on people you've fanned's message boards.
DO post regularly on discussions in clubs.
DON'T make yourself come across as needy/desperate for votes/reads/fans/comments.
DON'T post comments like: "Can you please read _______?"
DON'T write clichè stories.
DO get yourself covers, trailers etc. for your book.
DO send a message to fans to update them on how your story is going.
DO make topics saying that you'll make covers if you like making them. However only post topics like this in the Book Cover club!
DO join and post a discussion in the Newcomers club!
DON'T overuse certain words such as "and" or "then", and don't overuse certain punctuation marks such as "!" or "?".
DON'T post in capitals.
