Gretta's Pov:
Gretta turned her head to the side and refused to look at what was about to happen. She hated feeling so helpless, but he was so strong, much stronger then she was.
"Ouch, you son of a-" Alvin groaned.
Gretta peeked through her fingers like a scared child. She could believe what she was seeing. Was he really here? The thud of Ewan's fist connecting with Alvin's head sounded real enough, but she had to be sure.
"Ewan." Her voice came out timidly, barely cutting through the verbal threats the two men were tossing at one another, but he heard her.
Ewan smiled briefly at his ballerina, but then frowned when he saw the fear in her eyes, his fighting with the boy was upsetting her, he realized guiltily.
Ewan skillfully applied pressure to the boy's neck making him passed out within a few moments.
He stepped over him to get to Gretta.
"Gretta." He whispered.
She stepped back form him, still fearful.
He stopped, extending his arm longingly towards her, wishing, hoping she would meet him halfway.
But she didn't.
