Five Months Later

"Here" I said handing Jason a condom. He sucked his teeth as he accepted the condom. "Why I gotta wear one" He asked
I put my hands on his chest pushing him off of me "Because you getting me pregnant is not going to fix anything" I said getting agitated
"Why not?" Jason asked as he adjusted the pillows to sit up "We are not in a place to have a baby nor getting married" I said getting off the bed
"What? You don't want to get married?" He asked. I sighed. "All this arguing is taking a toll on me." He got off the bed and made his way over to me "We can get through this" J said
I brushed past him taking a seat on the bed"I don't know baby" I put my head in my hands, shedding a few tears. He put his finger under my chin lifting my head up "Don't say that baby. I'm not giving up on us" He pleaded
"Maybe we need time apart" I admitted. J nodded his head "I can comeback Sunday" He said getting up "No I mean when I'm ready for you to come back" I said. He stopped in his tracks and turned around
"Are you sure?" J asked "Stop asking me if I'm sure, I'm fucking positive. Please get your shit and leave" I snapped. I ran and locked myself in the bathroom
Honestly I'm scared to marry Jason. Even though it's been four years my heart, my everything is still with Hezekiah.
Then Jason always rushing to do something. He keep mentioning a baby then he in a hurry to get married
I need to talk to Hezekiah. Jason won't even allow me and the kids to have any communications with Hezekiah but that's about to change
Soon as I heard the front door close, I unlock the door and walked out. I looked out the room and seen all Jason shit is gone
I pulled back the covers and laid down. The kids are with Madelyn and Levi for the weekend so I can finally have the much needed me time

"Hey sweetheart" Levi said opening the door "Hey Levi" I said walking in. I took a seat on the couch waiting for Madelyn
Madelyn greeted me then she took a seat next to Levi "I'm ready to let the kids see Hezekiah" I said. "That's good because he has been asking about them" Madelyn said
"So when you want to do this?" Levi asked "Now" I said. "Mommy" Kj said running over to me. I picked him up and kissed his cheek
I held the twins hands as we walked into the prison. I followed behind Madelyn and Levi as they led us to the visitation area.
The twins let go of my hands soon as they seen Hezekiah. Hezekiah squatted down and embraced them into a hug. He stood up and smiled at me. I walked over to him. I stood on my tippy toes and hugged him
He wrapped his arms around my lower back. I took a seat across from him as he talked to the twins. I have to admit Hezekiah looking real good. His beard has fully grown in and he's more muscular now
"Lil man all this hair" Hezekiah said messing in Kj's curly fro. I smiled seeing how happy my kids are
After fifteen minutes of the kids talking to Hezekiah it was my turn "Alright it's mommy turn to talk to daddy"
Hezekiah kissed the twins "I love you daddy" Kj said as he hugged him "I love you more" Aubrey said hugging Hezekiah
"I love you guys" He said. I watched the kids run over to Madelyn "Do you love Jason?" Hezekiah asked looking down at my engagement ring
"How do you know?" I asked. I made sure that Hezekiah never found out that I was dating Jason. He chuckled "I know a lot of stuff that you don't think I know" Hezekiah said
"It's not like that" I said putting my hand over Hezekiah's. He quickly moved his hand "That man tried to hurt you and now you about to marry him. I swear if he lay a hand on my kids he going six feet under" Hezekiah said looking me directly in my eyes
"What ever you do watch your back around him" Hezekiah said getting up from the table.
"I'll pick you tomorrow from pre-k" I said to the twins "Thank you for keeping them an extra night" I said to Madelyn "No problem. Just get yourself together" She said
I looked out the window watching the storm. I tried calling Madelyn but I had no service "Fuck" I said tossing my phone on the counter. I jumped as I heard a knock on the front door
I ran to the closet and picked up the baseball bat. I gripped the baseball bat as I opened the door
I let out a sigh of relief when I seen it was Jason soaked from the rain. "I'm sorry ma" Jason said. I watch the rain dribble down his face. He kissed my lips. I let go of the bat as I kissed him back
J picked me and closed the door with his foot. He placed me on the counter as I took off his soaked shirt. I bit down on my lip admiring his six pack
"You forgive me?" He asked as he shoved his thickness in me "I-I" I stuttered as he started slowly stroking " I what?" He asked putting all of him in me
"I do" I said digging my nails in his back
My eyes popped open as what Hezekiah said echo over and over in my head
"What ever you do watch your back around him"
