One of you? *winx club fanfic*

Chapter 7
Lilly's POV: I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and bees buzzing. I opened my eyes hoping it wasn't just a dream. When I sat up I saw my pink room with everything where I left it and Pearl was still sleeping. I got up and laughed. I tickled Pearl's belly and picked her up. I went to the balcony and looked at my kingdom. My life was perfect. I had 2 pairs of parents who loved me, two sisters, I'm a fairy, and I had the winx as my friends along with Roxy.
"Good morning Sparks!"
I jumped around inside and played with Pearl. I have a week in the castle now, then winter break, spring break and summer vacation. I would have to visit my Earth parents for Christmas and stay with them for a bit in the summer but other than that I was going to be on Sparks whenever I could. I was already having a great day when the matrons came in. Shoot.
"Good morning Princess!"
"Morning matron..." I really wasn't in the mood for them.
"I can dress myself this morning so you can leave."
"But we-"
"No I am not 5 I can dress myself thank you."
I pushed them out the door and sat on the floor. I was having breakfast with my parents and my sisters. What did matrons say? Gown to breakfast and lunch, ball gown to dinner? I think that was it.
What was the difference between a gown and a ball gown?
The one time I get matron out I need them in the next 5 seconds. I opened my door to see them waiting for me to come out.
"Matron what is the difference between a gown and a ball gown?"
"A gown is a fancy dress just not as fancy as one you would wear to a ball."
"But I've never been to a ball."
"And you need our help getting dressed."
I let them in.
They picked out a gown for me and now I know what a gown looks like so I don't need them anymore. I got dressed in a purple gown with pink gloves and only small pearl earrings.
I picked up Pearl and went to the dinning hall. I didn't get lost. All you do to get there is go all the way down the stairs and it is a giant room with a giant table and the ball room is next to it. Mother, father and Bloom were there. Where was Daphne?
As I thought this she came speeding in.
"Sorry I'm late!"
"It's fine dear but please try to be punctual. A princess is never late" mother said.
I flinched at the word 'princess'. I still hadn't gotten over what matron did to my brain.
Bloom noticed and we exchanged giggles. Daphne rolled her eyes and mother and father had no idea what was going on. When breakfast was over I got changed into a riding outfit with blue pants a pink shirt and a girly blue matching jacket. I went down to the stables. There were 5 horses there. Each horse had a name carved on the stable door except for one. I expected that was mine. She was beautiful. What should I name her?
"Hi there. I'm Lilly. You name is...Rose!" I grabbed a helmet and hopped on Rose. I loved horses. I went to riding camp ever since I was a little girl. I put some reins on her and opened the gate with my foot. She trotted out and we started gaining speed. Soon we were headed to the village near the castle. When we got there bells were raining and people were everywhere. A man came up to my horse and spoke.
"Would you like to buy a melon?"
"No thank you."
I walked with Rose to the edge of the village and we rode to a lake. I sat there for a bit and then I had I go back or I would be late for lunch. And 'a p..princess is never late'. It was annoying that now I hated the word so much I couldn't even say it. When I was entering the village I saw a boy on a horse talking to Sky.
I rode over to them.
"Hey Sky!"
"Oh hey Lilly I came to see Bloom. By the way, this is my cousin and heir to the throne of Linfea, Mathew. He will be starting Red fountain like you will be starting Alfea."
"Mathew this is Princess Lilly, Bloom's sister."
I turned to Mathew.
"Hello I'm Lilly."
I waved he was very handsome.
"Hello your highness."
"Well Sky, Mathew, would you like to accompany me back to the palace?"
"Of course Lilly. Come on Mathew!"
We rode back to the castle and Bloom was sitting in the stables brushing Peg, her horse.
"Bloom!"
I put Rose back in her stable and jumped over the side of the door.
"Look who I found in the village."
I pointed and Sky came out with Mathew behind him.
"Sky!"
Bloom jumped on him once he tied his horse off. Mathew kept starring at me.
"Are you coming to stay for dinner" Bloom asked.
"Sure," said Sky. "Bloom this is my cousin Mathew."
"I know," she smiled. "My friend Flora is from Linfea. She loves to talk about it. I'm sorry about your father."
What happened to his father? Ughhhh. I am so out of the loop with everything magical and that is so weird CONSIDERING IM A FAIRY AND IM ROYALTY! Wow! Maybe I over reacted that a bit.
"We will meet you guys at lunch we need to change." Bloom was really good at leaving a conversation without being rude. We ran to our rooms. I put on the same thing as this morning and grabbed Pearl. When I got there I was right on time. The noon bell rang as I sat down. We talked and laughed. I looked across the table to see Mathew staring at me. I looked away and felt the red in my cheeks.
"So," my father said "Sky, Mathew, are you staying for the ball tonight?"
"There is going to be a ball?" I said.
"Yes dear and it's to celebrate you coming home!"
He looked back at Sky.
"Of course sir. We would be honored to attend."
I whispered to Bloom, "does Sky normally talk like this?"
Bloom giggled.
"No he only uses the big boy words around kings."
We laughed and ate.
When lunch was over we excused ourselves and went upstairs and looked at ball gowns to wear to the ball.
"So are you and Sky gonna get married and have itty bitty babies and live Hapiwy Eva Afta?"
"Lilly I'm still in Alfea. I have a really overprotective family and now I really don't need an annoying little sister. So be a cool little sister."
I stuck out my tongue pretending to be a 5 year old.
"And on the topic of boys Lilly, what do you think of Mathew?"
"He's...cool."
"Oh come on! I saw you blushing at lunch!"
"Shut up!"
Daphne came running in and fell on the floor.
"Daphne!"
We ran to her, we knew she was faking but we played along.
"So. Many. Children. Running. With. Style. Save yourselves!"
Children with style? I got up and looked out my door before I could do anything Stella hugged me. "Lilly!"
"Hey Stella. Your coming to the ball?"
"Uh duh?!"
"Whoa Stella chillax" said Musa.
"Hey Musa."
"Hey Lilly" said Aisa.
"Hi!"
I got a bunch of hey's and hello's. When Flora said hi I couldn't stop myself.
"Hey Flora I was wondering what happened to the king of Linfea?"
She looked sad.
"He is very sick why?"
Bloom came out of my room.
"Because little sis is in LOVE with the prince!"
We walked back into my room.
"Bloom! Shut! Up!" I threw a stuffed animal at her.
"OMG! Are you dating?" Stella had to ask didn't she. "You have to wear these clothes to the ball." She waved her hand and a beautiful ball gown appeared on me with a pink flower in my hair.
"Stella you have to teach me to do that!" I yelled.
Bloom laughed. "Ha! Then matrons couldn't annoy you so much!"
"OMG! Stella I was asking before but now I am DEMANDING that you teach me how to do that!"
Bloom couldn't stop laughing with Daphne. Bloom was rolling around on my bed and Daphne was rolling around on my floor.
"Winx you wanna see the video?" Bloom was still laughing.
"You took a video?!"
"Yeah I had my phone with me."
She took out her phone and showed the video of me fighting with matrons.


"I can brush my own teeth!"
...
"But prin-"
...
"I never thought I would hate the word 'princess' so much!"


"Bloom..." I looked at her laughing but then I had a serious face. "I'm gonna kill you."
I chased her around the room and soon she tripped. Ha! I win.
"Bloom get dressed the ball is in 10 minutes." Daphne said getting off the floor.
She shot up.
"No worries" said Stella. She waved a hand and we all were in gorgeous ball gowns. With masks. It was a masked ball. We put on our masks and went down to the ballroom. I looked for Mathew everywhere then I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Princess Lilly its me Mathew."
"Oh hello Mathew."
"Would you like to dance?"
