It's been a few weeks since I told Andy that I was pregnant. He was thrilled. I was scared to death, but I was never doubting my love for Andy. He was the one. We figured that once the baby came he'd move here and we'd visit his parents every other month then they would come out here for the holidays so we can have our families together.
"Andy." I spoke softly.
"Are you okay, sweetheart." He said
"I-I want to know you're here for the long run."
"I pinky promise I am here forever."
"I love you and thank you for not making me feel like crap about not being pretty for you."
"Why would I make you feel that way? You're beautiful in just a dress and slippers with no make up and a head of messy hair. "
"Awe. that's so gross." Bethany said in the doorway
"Andy! You gave them a key didn't you!?" I said
"Correction I gave it to Caroline. She wanted to be able to bring your vitamins and stuff over from your parents without me having to be home. They must've made a copy." He said, defensively
"I'm sorry I just don't feel like anyone wants to see me like an elephant and ugly."
"You are NOT ugly. You are gorgeous."
"I want one of him!" Michelle said
"Where can we get one?" Nicole asked
"Children!" Caroline yelled
"Guys yelling isn't good around the baby." Andy reminded them.
He was constantly reminding everyone that the baby wasn't used to hearing the yelling and that they should be quieter around me. He took amazing care of me. He cooked me food, carried me to bed, talked to my bump, even brushed my hair when I asked. It's like he was a servant. I didn't want him to think I was taking advantage of this pregnant thing. My stomach must've growled because I noticed Andy heading to the kitchen.
"I can fix my own food." I said aloud
"Never. You're on rest by order of me. Now enjoy it."
"Andy."
"Don't Andy me. You're not doing anything to harm my precious little babies."
"You're too good to me."
"I know."
I chuckled and turned back to my four best friends.
"Guys. I just want to say Thank you again." I spoke rubbing my huge bump
"We really wanted you happy even if we aren't right now." Bethany said
"You guys are the best friends in the entire world. I love you guys so much."
"We love you too. and we kinda already bought a lot of stuff for the baby." Nicole said
"Hope you two don't mind." Michelle added
"Of course we don't." Andy answered, handing me my food
"You're too good you know that." I said, shoveling the food in
They all just laughed at me eating.
"Hey! I'm eating for thr--two." I defended
"Thr-two? is that a new number?" Andy asked
"Um, no. I was gonna surprise everyone. We're having TWINS!"
"Oh my god! This is fantastic. We'll need double of everything! beds, animals, clothes, all of it! I have to call mum and tell them! She's going to be so excited."
