Destiny's POV
"Oh, okay...um sure. What about?" I asked nervously.
"Well...I...uh..." he stuttered. "I like you...like, a lot."
The words Nash spoke were very surprising. I didn't know what to think. I'm dating Matthew. I can't like Nash. Nash can't like me. What is Matt going to say? No, I can't tell Matt. He'll freak..
"Well, are you going to say anything?" Nash asked.
"I..um.." I was at a loss for words.
"Oh, hey guys!! What are you talking about?" Matt smiled.
"Oh, nothing." I quickly replied. Trying to hide the nervousness in my voice.
"Well, okay then...?" Matt said confused. "Destiny, do you want to go get ice cream?"
"Sure, Matt! I would love to go get ice cream with you. My boyfriend. The love of my life. My best friend." I tried hinting to Nash that I didn't like him.
"Are you okay?" Matt asked.
"Oh yah, I'm fine!! Don't worry about me!!" I said trying to act fine.
"Alright. Well, Nash you're welcome to join us if you want!" Matt said excitedly.
"I would love to." Nash said while staring at me.
