Today is a wonderful day at Canterlot High School. The atmosphere seems to be peaceful and the breeze felt warm and crisp. Everybody is calm and excitedly walking to school. Well, almost eveybody...

"I'M SO LATE!" A girl with lavender skin cried. Who is that girl, you ask? Me.

My name is Twilight Sparkle. Welcome to my life.

I rush to school, running as fast as my feet can carry me. I like school and all, but I was never that punctual.

"Excuse me." I cried as I made my way to the crowded hallways.

A lot of students greeted me. "Hey Sci-Twi!" Yep, that's what they call me. I spend most of my time in the library, looking for science facts and stuff. Now, there is another girl that's also named Twilight Sparkle and she is a pony princess. To avoid confusion, they all call me Sci-Twi or Twi.

As weird as it sounds, but there is another me that comes from this pony land called 'Equestria'. She is pretty popular at my school. Everybody thinks I'm her twin sister. Except for the mane 6, a.k.a Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie pie, and Sunset Shimmer. They all know that the 'other twilight' is not my twin.

*THUD* I accidentally tripped on a soccer ball or a basketball or something. Nooooooo!

Before I can face the hard, cold floor, a hand pulled me and helped me regain my balance.

"Hi Twi." A familiar voice, which made my heart thump fast, said.

It was Timber Spruce. (Surprise! Surprise!)

"H-hey T-twimber! I mean, Timber Spout. I m-mean Timber Spruce!" I stammered. Timber Spruce is my ultimate crush. I met him at Camp Everfree. He transferred here just this year. He got me spinning around and around (sometimes literally). There are times when catch him looking at me as I look at him. And I always look away when he does that. Does he see me anyways? Maybe I'm just assuming things.

Timber smiled at me. "You gotta be careful. Anyways, I'll be here to help you in case you trip again."

I giggled. "Thanks! You know, for saving me from the wrath of the floor. I was just 3 inches away from it." I blushed and mentally kicked myself for talking without thinking. Why? Why?

He chuckles, showing his perfectly white teeth. "It's ok."

"I gotta go to class." I say, smiling awkwardly. "Um, see ya!"

"See ya, twi!" He said back. I dashed away before I can talk about dorky stuff again.

I ran to my first class, which is grammar. I like this class. We get to write essays and read fantastic books. I love reading!

In the classroom, I saw Sunset Shimmer. She is my best friend. She helped me find friendship and we talk to each other a lot.

"Hello twilight!" Sunset shimmer said cheerfully.

"Hello." I said, seating on the seat next to her.

"I heard that Principal Celestia has something to announce at lunch." Sunset says.

"Really? Do you have any idea what it's about?" I asked.

She shrugged. "I have no idea."

Little did I know that announce is going to make my normal life miraculous.

"Marinette! Wake up!" A little voice cries. I slowly open my eyes and saw Tikki, my kwami.

"Hey Tikki! Good morning!" I greeted. I wonder why she looks worried.

"Do you know what time it is?" She asked.

I looked at the clock in my room and gasped. It's already 7:45! Only 15 more minutes till my first class!

"Oh-no!" I groan. "I overslept! Now I'm late for school!"

I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Welcome to my life.

I overslept last night because I have to save people from akumatized victims, agian. You see, I'm ladybug. I have this earrings called the miraculousis, which give me powers to become a superhero of Paris. Of course being a superhero isn't that easy. Having powers is a huge responsibility. You have to make sacrifices too. Like sleeping later than usual...

I quickly showered and got dressed for school. Then I dashed downstairs.

"Goodmorning Marinette!" My parents greeted me.

"Goodmorningmomanddad!" I said so fast that it sounded like one word. I grabbed a croissant and ran outside. "BYE!!!"

As I ran towards my school, I ate my croissant. No time to stop.

My cellphone rings. I quickly grab my phone from my bag. I check the caller. It's Alya.

"Hey girl! Where are you?!" She cried.

"Hey Alya! I overslept." I say.

"First period starts at 8:00!" She reminded me.

I sighed. "I know! I know!"

"Good luck! You can make it!" She encouraged me.

"Thanks and bye, Alya!" I said.

"Bye!"

Only a few meters away and the entrance to Françoise Dupont High School.

That's when I bumped into someone and dropped my bag. Oops!

"Whoa!" A voice cried. Oh my! Oh my! Only one person owns that voice...

"Adrien?" I cried a bit too loudly. "A-adrien! I-I'm so s-sorry." I stuttered.

Adrien smiles at me. I looks deep into his beautiful green eyes. He is so cute. Did I mention that I have a big fat crush on Adrien?

"It's ok." He says.

"Y-yeah. I-it's ok. M-more than ok. You know, because you are awesome." I blabbed. Then I shut my mouth. I accidentally said how awesome he is! I blushed from embarrassment.

Adrien chuckles and picks up my bag. "Um, you dropped this."

"T-thanks." I say.

He hands me my bag. Our fingers brush against each other. I think I'm going to faint.

He smiles "I'll see you around, Marinette."

I return a smile "S-see y-ya!"

Adrien touched me! Adrienne touched me! My love can only grow...

"Marinette!" Alya said, approaching me. "Come on!"

"Adrien! We touched fingers..." I say, dreamily.

"Really? That's cool." Alya said with a grin. "Now let's go to class! The teacher is going to announce something!"

Miss Bustier is going to announce something? I wonder what it is.

"Do you have any idea what she is going to announce?" I ask.

Alya shook her head. "I don't know. But we will soon find out!"
