"Max?" Rosy came out of nowhere.
"Yeah?"
"Here."
"What is it?"
And you know what she gave me?
The Mother Stone.
"Wh-where did you get this?"
"Unfortunately, Chronos was shot down, and his dying wish was for you to have this."
"F-for me to have it? But this must be a mistake!"
"Yeah." She handed it to me. "And there's something else."
"Same."
"You first." We spoke at the same time. We laughed.
Rosy spoke. "No, seriously. You go."
"Okay. Ready?"
"Yeah."
"It's just words."
"Do it." She sighed. And I sighed.
"Fine. Will you be my princess?"
She gasped. "YESYESYESYESYES!!!!!"
"Well, that was easier than I thought. Now what're you gonna give me?"
"This,"
And do you know what it was?
It was a kiss.
The best she had given me.
"Rosy. Thank you."
And all she did was smile.
