Nathaniel?!

Marinette's P.O.V.

Chat leaves and I just sit there-
Feeling a burning sensation inside of me

I cherished every second when I was against him while he was hugging me

I grab my chest- I feel like my heart is about to jump out

No! Nonono! He's just a stupid cat....

That's... That's all...

I close my eyes  and sigh
Why does life have to be so confusing

I get dressed in more.... Casual clothing- and decide to go out and clear my mind

I put my hair up and grab my satchel and open it so tikki can come with

I then exit my house

As I'm walking down the streets of Paris a familiar face comes up

Nathaniel

"Bonjour Marinette!" He greets kindly

I wave, "bonjour, Nathaniel"

I continue walking, going about my own business
But he grabs my arm,
"Wanna get a cup of coffee?"
He says while gesturing to the coffee shop around the corner

"Uuuhm.... Sure..."
This will get my mind off of Chat Noir for sure

We buy coffee- well he bought coffee- he insisted he pay.

We sit down at a table and before long out coffee is served to us

I take a sip

We start chatting about things
And then we start joking around
And then we start laughing like idiots

Our coffee is long gone by now but we are just having a good time
But I can't help but wonder
Would I have more fun if it was me and Chat?

UGH- pull yourself together Marinette !!!

It's been a few hours and the stars are out

Nathaniel sighs
"Isn't it beautiful out tonight?"

I nod,
"Definitely.."
I stare up at the stars and take in their beauty
But then...

I feel a hand take hold of mine
Normally- even though I don't like him, I would have blushed

But- I don't feel anything. It maybe even... Kind of... Disgusts me

I pull my hand away and mumble
'Sorry' under my breath

I start to walk off
He grabs me wrist but I get out if his grasp

"Good night" I say as I walk off, leaving him alone

Not going to lie. It felt pretty harsh. But- I don't like him like that... And I know he likes me...

I passed out that night with the image of Chat's warm smile in my head

I wake up early in the morning to get ready for school

Tying my hair up, washing my face, brushing my teeth, getting dressed, and what not

I speed to school and once I finally get there I'm covered in sweat,
Considering I ran the entire way here

My mom and dad couldn't take me to school because they're out of town

And I missed the bus...

Alya ran up and grabbed me

"UGH! I've been waiting for you!! Come on we're gonna be late!!"
She start dragging me all the way to class

I fell asleep in class
But someone woke me up
