My Mate...my Alpha

Chapter 7

Ryan's POV (Laker's male friend)

Seriously, I knocked on their door almost half an hour ago and still nothing. I just want to check that Lakers mate is okay seeing as managed to knock him out with his own freaking door.

*flashback*

Me and drake were standing in the room we were told was lakers waiting to surprise her and her mate, we wanted to meet the lucky sod. we heard someone coming down the hall and we could smell Laker and a man which was most likely her mate whom we had been told was called Caleb. I went to the door and could hear them getting closer but there was only one set of feet moving, I opened the door and I hit something. I didn't know they were that close, I'd knocked Caleb out and lying beside him was a shocked Laker, lying sprawled on her ass. She got up and hugged me.

"Omg Ryan, I've missed you so much, but seriously dude, why did you knock out my mate?!"

"Hey Laker, I swear I didn't mean it, we should probably get him to bed and get the doctor to check him over."

"Yeah we should, I should probably warn you Ryan that Cal won't be very happy when he finds out about this seeing as he's the alpha here"

"I understand, I will come see you two in the morning or something"

"Yeah sure, thanks for helping get him to bed Ryan"

"Anytime Laker"

*end of flashback*

I just wanted to apologise to the guy but no he was too fucking lazy to get the door, as I was just sitting staring into space having a mini rant to myself the door finally opened and out came laker.

L-"Hey Ryan, Cal will be just out. sorry it took as a while to get the door we were...talking"

R-"Hey Laker, it's fine, yeah sure you were, you're forgetting I've known you for like 10 years now and can tell when your lying"

C-"is that so, so I'm guessing you're the guy who hit me with the door and knocked me out"

R-"yes sir, I'm so sorry, I didn't realise how close you were to the door and me and Drake wanted to surprise Laker with a visit"

C-"it's okay, now lets get breakfast before my pack get even more pissed off than they already are"

We all head off towards the dining room, stopping to get drake along the way.

So guys there's more to come of this chapter but I didn't want you all waiting too long, enjoy guys and I will finish it later.

Laker's POV

We headed down to the dining room where there is gonna be one angry pack, they have to wait for their alpha before they can eat and seeing as he was preoccupied they've had to wait even longer than normal. The pack seem to like me, there's been the occasional joke about my first night here but Cal shuts them up if I haven't already succeeded in doing so, they are all lovely and I feel like I've known them for years. It's so cool to have Ryan and Drake over for a week or two, they want to get to know Caleb better, we open the doors to the dining room and as expected there are 10 rather angry looking men and the girls all have a grin on their faces, what girl wouldn't when your man has to wait longer than normal to have food, teasing men is just a girl thing and they can tell that me and Cal did it on purpose.

L-"morning everyone, so very sorry we took so long to get down here."

C-"I'm not!"

My new best friend harmony chooses this moment to giggle, obviously I'd already thought out the events of this morning and told harmony everything.

H-"I bet you aren't alpha, did everything go to plan Lake?"

L-"sure did harmony and what a great plan it was."

C-"you two are terrible, making plans against your alpha. Although I can't complain when it comes to this plan, job well done girls."

Both me and Harmony blush like crazy and giggle, we eat our breakfast in almost silence but with Ryder grunting through every bite of his waffles we don't quite achieve complete silence.

C-"Jesus Ryder can't you eat quietly?!"

R-"these waffles are too good and you and Laker made us wait almost an hour for breakfast and I'm starving."

C-"yeah we made you wait but shut up and eat quietly or you can live on cereal for the rest of the week"

R-"i'll shut up then"

(I hate cereal so living on that for breakfast for a week is a punishment I'd hate and avoid completely)

Ryder stayed quiet and we ate in silence from then on, after everyone was finished breakfast they went off to do their duties. I went with Caleb to his office to 'help' with his paperwork which translates to, I'm gonna sit on his knee and cuddle.
