Chapter 3
When I arrive at the hospital I go see someone before I see the women from the last night, a young lad who was caught in a fire with his little sister he got 3rd degree burns on his arms and legs he carried his sister out of the house she was unharmed thanks to him, he’s burns are dressed up and he is doing well I go to the ward the young women are when I get there the ginger lass see me
“Oh my god! Thank you so much for last night you saved our lives” she says hugging me
“It’s my job pet, I’m glad you and your friend are okay” I smile
“Sorry I forgot your name” she says
“Cheryl” I say
“Nicola” She replies
“My friend who you carried out her names Kimberley she’s in here” Nicola says and I follow her into the room there are four bed and the furthest to the right near the window sits the blonde women from last night looking much better and she’s awake
“Kimba, this is Cheryl she’s the one who carried you out” Nicola says
“Thank you so much Cheryl, you saved my life” she says as she hugs me
“I’m just glad your both ok and that we got there in time” I smile
“Do they know how the fire started?” I ask
“No they don’t their still looking into it, and as for my house well I have to look for another one as that house is far to damaged to be repaired, there’s too much fire and smoke damage” she says with a sad expression
“Oh I’m so sorry pet” I say
“It’s ok, I’m just glad yous got there in time to save me and Nicola” she smiles
“Well I’m happy to see your both ok, but i should really get going it was nice meeting you in better circumstances” I smile
“Yes, and thank you again” Kimberley smiles
“Yes Thank you Cheryl we’ll never forget what you did for us” Nicola smiles, I hug them again and leave the hospital
On my way back to Nadine’s I can’t help but think of Kimberley she looked so familiar but I can’t put my finger on how, I swear I’ve seen her face a few times before today I knot my brow together trying to think but nothing comes to me mind. I park my car and walk up to Nadine’s door knocking Logan answers with a grin on his face when he sees us
“Mammy!” he jumps up and I catch him I look at him and see chocolate all over his face and a little in his hair
“How did you get chocolate in ya hair pet?” I laugh walking into the house
“we melted chocolate, but I don’t know how it got in me hair” he laughs
“Hey your back quick” Nadine says as I walk into the kitchen and put Logan down
“Aye I know both the girls seem fine they seem lovely” I say and Nadine nods her head
“I can’t imagine what that Kimberley girl must be going through I mean she just got divorce from her husband and then her house gets burnt down” Nadine sighs
“How do you know she’s divorced?” I ask my eyebrow raised
“It’s all the papers have been talking about for weeks, you need to get out more Chez” Nadine laughs
“Papers?” I say
“Yeah, Kimberley Scott, now Kimberley Walsh divorced her husband coz he cheated on her with some of her back in dancers from her tour, the dancers were men!” Nadine says wide eyed, then I realize where I’ve seen Kimberley before she’s a famous singer
