Part 22~horrible flirting~

After I got upstairs I took a 20 minute shower. After, I ruffled through my closet until I found a mint green color strapless dress with sparkles cause you know You can never have too many sparkles. I put the dress on and did my hair which took about 30 minutes. Then I put on some makeup. I looked in the mirror but my smile seemed to fade.

Ugly

I quickly shook off the words in my mind and grabbed my shoes, purse and phone and went downstairs. It was now 7:18 and Josh was there with his black converse, black pants and white shirt on. I walked over to the couch and put on my shoes. I noticed Josh staring
"Well are you gonna say something or just stare at me like a idiot?" I asked struggling to put my blue flats on.
"Oh. Uh you look beautiful" he smiled
"You hesitated" I murmered
"Huh?" he asked
"Nothing. Thanks" i forced a smile. As we walked to the car I started to get nervous. I never been to one of these kind of parties before.
What if I got lost?
What if I say something dumb.
Nevermind. I must of being having a panic attack for too long because by the time I focused on where we were, we were there.
There were people outside and a lot of people inside. We walked up the driveway and I grabbed Josh's hand. He smiled at me
We walked in and the house was huge and the music was blasting.
I looked around and immediately recognized someone through the crowd. The mint green hair. I ran over to him and tapped his shoulder. As he turned around I was face to face to my brothers best friend, Tyler.
"Cadi!!" he yelled over the music
"Tyler!!!!" I yelled back. We hugged until I saw Josh standing there awkwardly
"Oh um Tyler this is my boyfriend Josh." I said clearing my throat
"Ah I heard a lot about you" he smiled
Josh just smiled
"Hey Cadi I'm just gonna get something to drink. Do you want something?" he asked me
"Um no thanks" I answered
After he left I was just standing there awkwardly until one of my favorite songs came on, Lane Boy by Twenty One Pilots. I was just starting to walk around when I accidently fell. But someone caught me.
"Josh?" I whispered as I looked up. But it wasn't Josh, it was someone else
"Nice of you to drop in" he smiled. I smiled at his bad flirting
"Your horrible at flirting Jacob" I said standing up as I recognised who it was. It was a old friend of mine in school. I had a crush on him a few years back.
"Hey. A boy can try." he smirked
"Well you ain't trying hard enough" I laughed
"Ok" he chuckled "so. Hun. What are you doing at a party like this"
"Tyler invited me" I said
"Ah." he said. Then he kinda stopped talking
"You look really pretty" he said breaking the silence
"Oh thank you" I felt my cheeks get hot. Jacob stepped closer to me so his and my face were Literally 1 inch away from each other. He placed his hands on my waist.
They say stay in your lane, boy
He looked into my eyes
Lane, boy
He smiled
But we go where we want to
He leaned in and kissed me
I wanted to push him off. But he would hate me then. He pulled away and had to ask the one thing I dreaded most:
"Wanna get a drink"
and of course I said
"Sure why not"

Josh was no where to be found. So I kinda had a couple drinks. Don't judge me. I'm sorry.
"Oooo Jake got a girl" another Boy said with Brown hair. Kayden Miller.
"Shut up Kayden" Jacob Said
"Hey I'll be right back" I smiled
"Ok" Jacob smiled back as I walked away.
I walked over into the other room and I was looking for Josh but I couldn't find him. So I decided to check upstairs. I walked up the stairs and only a few people were upstairs. Josh wasn't hanging out outside of all the rooms
So I decided to knock in the doors
I knocked on the door and a girl came to the door. She was drunk and she has a blanket wrapped around her.
"What" she snapped
"Um hi. Um I'm looking for someone named Josh." I said. She looked back into the room and was talking. I could hear Josh's voice whispering but I wasn't sure. A boy peeked around the corner to see who was interrupting them.
It was Josh.
Holy shit.
"Cadi" he said reaching out to touch me
"No don't touch me." I yelled
"Cadi ple-" he started but the girl cut him off
"Babe forget about her. Come on" she said kissing him
"Bye Josh." I said running back downstairs.
I ran into the room Jacob and his friends were in and I ran into his arms. I started crying
"Woah Cadi what's wrong?" he asked
"I.. I just caught my boyfriend with another girl" I stuttered.
"Awh hey it's ok. Here sit down" he said as he let me sit on his lap. I cried into his shoulder. He kissed my cheek..
We sat there for I don't know how long.. After a while I fell asleep. I dreaded going back home and face Josh so I must of ended up at Jacobs. I was having nightmares and I woke up sweating and almost crying. I looked next to me and there was Jacob. I got scared so I moved closer to him. I closed my eyes and felt him wrap his arms around me and After awhile I finally fell asleep...
