I Kissed a Girl, And I Liked It

She keeps me awake at every night,

My new addiction, so wrong and right,

She drives me crazy, she wears me out ,

And now she got my head upside down;

I spend hours trying to decipher her,

But she’s unreachably farther;

My friends, they all call her a bitch,

They say I can’t follow her pitch;

Many people give their own lives

Trying to understand her mind;

Only to find her movement’s speed,

Determine the force of her greed;

Frisky, wrapping me with her legs,

But when I think I’m close, she laughs;

She plays with my heart when she’s cold,

Leaving me secrets to unfold;

It’s too late, there’s no escape now,

I need to find her, hunt her down;

Down to my arms where she belongs,

Where she can’t tell me I am wrong;

Oh, no, but one day, one sweet day,

She’s gonna give up on her game;

She’ll surrender to my effort,

She’ll come lovingly, to comfort;

Show that there’s always an answer,

Maybe in Joule or in ampere;

All the bad moments, time will fix,

For now, I hum her name: Physics.

PS - No, I'm not a lesbian. The title and the poem were a joke made based on my love/hate relationship with Engineering Physics.
