"Prod we've been driving for hours. I'm tired." Mia complained.
"We're almost there babe." I said.
She was right we had been driving for hours and hours. Even my leg was starting to cramp and I was dozing off.
"Ughh I feel like i'm going to be sick." Mia whined. "Prod rolled down the window."
I did as told, "You know you whining isn't gonna make this any shorter. Just bear with me babe."
Mia leaned out the window and started throwing up. "Ughh." She groaned leaned back in the seat.
"Eww why'd you throw up?" I asked briefly looking at Mia.
"I'm pregnant you ass whole." Mia snapped. Realizing what she had said Mia covered her mouth and looked at me.
"You're what?" I asked slowing down the car.
"Uhh, i'm pregnant Prodigy. Damn, it's your baby." Mia groaned in annoyance.
I smiled. It was my first baby with the girl I loved.
"Wow."
I was so happy I felt like I was hearing things, "Do you hear sirens?" I smiled.
"Yes, I actually do." Mia looked at me worried.
"Whoa I think I'm seeing lights." I said.
"No Prod there are cops right behind us!" Mia yelled.
"Ima try and out run them."
"No pull over." Mia said looking at me. "Everything will be okay."
"There going to take you and the baby away from me." I said starting to tear up.
"I really wanna get away from him, but I can't raise a baby alone and I know he doesn't mean any harm. He doesn't need jail, he needs help." Mia thought.
"Ughhh, okay look babe everything will be okay. I got this. They're not going to split us up. I promise." Mia looked at me and nodded.
I looked at her and pulled over the car. Next thing I know it was at least 3-4 cops at the car.
They pulled me and Mia out. One cop grabbed me and pinned me to the car. "We didn't do anything." I said.
"Yeah well we got a missing persons call." One cop said.
The other cop grabbed Mia and pulled her to the side, "Hi i'm detective Louis are you Mia?"
Mia looked at me and then the lady, "No, my name is Crystal. Did me and my boyfriend do something wrong?"
Detective Louis looked at Mia in confusion, "A man by the name Jacob Perez called and gave a report that you were missing."
"I don't even know a Mia or heard of her. I don't know even a Jacob." Mia lied.
The detectives looked at me and then Mia.
"Well we're so sorry for bothering." the cop said letting me go.
"It's okay, you're just doing your job." I smiled. I walked over to Mia and held her hand.
"Can me and my girlfriend go now? We have to go to uh Montana."
The cops looked at me and nodded as they walked off to their cars.
I held Mia's hand and walked over to the car. I opened the door for and let her in, closing it behind her.
"You cops have a lovely night." I said.
I got in the car and drove off. That was close lol.
