"Please don't look at me like that, Optimus. What was I to do, leave Miko and just stay at the camp? That'd be rude, and uncaring of me." Minnie looked up cross armed. "And no, if I ran with her back to the city limits that drone would have followed me, and you know it. Then everyone in the camps would be in danger, because of me." Optimus seemed to ponder over this, he was previously going to voice something before she piped up with this sentence. "The way I see it, though yes I am begrudging I had to push onwards to find you." At this she peered past his leg. "All of you." Frowning she looked up at him again. "Sorry for disobeying and coming into the city though. Really I am."

"Although you are not a powerful shooter, you could provide cover fire for the humans. Though do not think I am pleased about you being here." Optimus said sternly, Minnie nodded though, even though she felt rather scolded.

"I could go back." Minnie half turned to make it seem like she was going to walk off. Only a digit stopped her. Wriggling as the collar of her hoodie was suddenly held within a thumb and forefinger, she looked down as the ground lifted away from her feet. Not by much, but by enough to warrant her wiggling to try and touch ground again.

"Going back does not seem like an option for you now." He paused, thinking over his next words wisely before speaking them. Optimus may have been many things, tactical and diplomatic with words was one such thing. "As you said, you have to push onwards."

"Where does onwards lead to exactly?" Minnie looked over her shoulder with difficulty. Noticing her discomfort, Optimus placed her back down.

"The city centre." Turning he began walking back to where the army men had taken pause for a few moments. "Megatron is there."

"I saw Startscream got taken down." She said while trotting quickly next to him.

"Yes, he knew as well as anyone that death was likely to happen." Optimus said while stopping in his walking. Minnie stopped beside him and looked at the odd looks the soldiers were giving her. After all, they had witnessed her awful shooting skills. Which naturally meant they had seen her arm in the form of a gun, which as most people knew, wasn't a normal trait to own.

Looking around, Minnie smiled at the sight of a familiar silver and blue car. Smokescreen slowly transformed and crossed his arms. "Wanted to join in?" He quipped, even at a time like this he could seemingly joke about, or be sarcastic at the least.

"No more than you." She countered, it was no secret that Smokescreen had a want for proving himself. "Chased."

"Oh," he said to her reason for being here. "Sure you weren't nosey?" He asked with a curious frown. It wasn't like he didn't believe her, Minnie had never given him cause to believe she'd lie to him. But he couldn't help but rib her slightly.

"At what?" Minnie frowned, Smokescreen gave a shrug and fell silent when Optimus just quickly glanced his way.

"The dangers have no doubt spread further throughout the city, for this reason and others, Minnie is to stay with us. She will join you on the ground." At this point he looked down at her. "You will follow the orders these men give you."

"Sure thing." She nodded seriously. Optimus seemed to gauge her seriousness before moving on.

Getting nudged she looked up at Smokescreen. "Welcome to the Autobot recruitment regime." He smiled and even sent a wink down her at. He for one seemed quite pleased, if not proud of the moment at hand.

Minnie raised an eyebrow. "Autobot recruitment regime? Did you just make that up?" She smirked.

"Perhaps, rather smooth thinking, no?"

Minnie looked up at the sky which had been blackened by the smoke. The sun which had been shining had been easily blotted out. "I think it may take more than just this battle to make us officials in the team." She couldn't help but ponder quietly so that only he could really hear her.
