day seven: book recommendation

dedicated to rotagirl98 and her lovely writing

- -

okay so i found this book called "call me fog," right? and so i looked at it, and from page one, i was hooked. julia aka rotagirl98 has a very specific style of writing. in my mind, it's not really poetry, even though some of her books are in the poetry section. i guess it could be called free verse, but honestly, i think that it's just writing with

emphasis

like this.

and i love it so much. it's so unique and ugh

now there's the plot. actually wait. the book i want to recommend isn't call me fog [even though call me fog is a pretty amazing book that i'd still 100% recommend]. it's the book claire by rotagirl98 and it's beautiful.

so basically the original premise is this girl called claire and it seems to the reader that she's searching for her purpose in life, basically. and the entire plot is just very unique and original wow. it follows her from her home, to her school, to a series of letters exchanged between her and a classmate, to the fucking amazing ending and god i just want to cry everytime i reread it julia's writing is so relatable and awesome and i can't okay

but anyway i really love it a lot and i'd recommend it 500834723% to anyone out there reading this and you can get to the book through the external link and go read it right now i'm going to explode from feelings EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ HER WORKS SHE'S AMAZING OKAY

also i'd recommend her other books as well (esp. call me fog, little things about you, letters from S, lyrics, fading, to be a teen [OH MY GOD THIS ONE], don't let go.)

all of her books are pretty much perfection okay

go read them now
