Chapter 10.25: A New Beginning

Write a poem below and explain its message. The last part of the test told Ethan.

He smiled and flipped his hair. I did not know this could even exist. He sighed and combed his hair.

Ode To The Silver Snow

He wrote and said, I missed writing you so much! A large grin printed on his face much bigger than the text on the paper.

Since days of verdance lie in place

When white will rule of silver grace

His gibberish penmanship reminded him of how he was yesterday and how he began a journey for or with other people who were mirrors of his past.

In zenith’s obedience deprived some race

Bleakness lays, bleakness stays

There are things that hinder us. There are things that block things that we ought to understand be more obscure and hid under the thick sheets of snow.

Oh Silver Snow! Oh Silver Snow!

Thy glitter shines in emerald flow

Of as I peek beyond window sills

Flamboyance rules, my field you fills

Ethan whispered, coldness is a negative emotion. I’m negative myself. My teacher would always say, ‘negative for negative is equal to positive in multiplication but in addition, it stays the same. Did I multiply? Or add?

Just plain white peace, no dido nor frills

My sorrow’s gone, my grief she steals

Questions come and we don’t know what the answers are. It leaves us confused yet we interrogate ourselves, why, how. It is what makes life in its climax state.

Oh Silver Snow! Oh Silver Snow!

How I’d love to watch you glow

In raucous pace they expect you to be

Yet not in me, for you in glee

Primordial joy I experienced with thee

For you in fun, so glad and free

What eyes will see is what minds would share. It is scientifically explained that stimuli would go forth the brain and make us realize of what we sense; mainly, what we see. Since when did heart even got shared? It is all kept inside… deep down inside.

Oh Silver Snow! Oh Silver Snow!

Of Jocund measures I want you to know

Of blends in nature, a profound pure

With verdance there, monochromes lure

In lachrymose a peril mine’s you cure

Of lucid luster I wait and endure

I am such a cold person. He sighed. Maybe. Maybe I am.

Oh Silver Snow! Oh Silver Snow!

You’ll soon leave my gloom will grow

In December’s kiss you’ll arrive and go
