Feia never forgave himself for what he did. He had shot his own son, so how could he? Losing Grace and Dimitri caused Feia to go insane, and from then on, he lived alone. Then, after ten years of living alone, Feia attempted to do the impossible: tame a Forgotten. Many people were famous for being able to kill a Forgotten, but Feia was famous for being the only blind person to be able to fight a high-class monster. That was before he was the first human to tame a Forgotten. After that, Feia was known as the blind Shi tamer. He had gotten so depressed that he thought too much. Then, the idea that no one had ever tamed a Forgotten popped into his head. He thought it would get him killed, so he left his home on the last day of the year and went into the city. With him, he brought the ball of a Forgotten that had been killed by another Forgotten. When a Forgotten killed one of it's own, it didn't destroy the red ball inside. The Forgotten had other ways of killing their own.

So, Feia left his home with the intention of being brutally murdered by a Forgotten. Almost immediately after leaving his house, he ran into one. He looked at the ball and looked at the Forgotten, then, he threw it at the Forgotten as it turned around. The ball flew right into the Forgotten's mouth, or at least what people thought was the mouth. Suddenly, the Forgotten swallowed the ball and changed shape. It ended up taking the shape of a cat, and then walked up to Feia. It now looked like a completely normal black cat, instead of a deadly monster. It meowed and rubbed itself against Feia's leg. Feia, being blind, was confused why the Forgotten had not killed him and why it was meowing and rubbing itself against his leg. He started walking home, but the Cat followed him. When it was January first of the next year, he left his house with the Forgotten following. When he walked into town, a curious young boy walked up to Feia and asked if he could pet his Cat. Feia looked at the boy with a confused look and said, "Cat? I thought a Forgotten had followed me. How peculiar." The boy, in response, ran back to his mother and told her what Feia had responded with.

The people near Feia backed away, afraid they were going to die, but nothing happened. Then, Feia looked at where the Cat was, or at least where he thought it was, and picked it up. "What the hell? This was a Forgotten! Now it's a fucking cat? I'm losing it again." Feia had not seen the Forgotten swallow the red ball, so he was awfully confused. Word got around that a Forgotten in the form of a Cat was following the famous Feia around. Yao heard the news, and went to Feia's house. Yao was wondering why the Forgotten had not killed Feia yet. When Yao knocked, Feia opened the door and let him in. "Yao, why have you come to visit me? Is it about this cat?" Yao nodded, but then remembered Feia was blind and sat down. "Yes. Do you know how it happened?" Feia then explained what had happened the night he met the Cat. Yao then asked Feia if he wanted to go back in time to see how it happened. Feia once again had a confused look. Then, Yao pulled a pair of glasses from his pocket and put them on Feia's face. Suddenly, Feia could see. The reaction Feia had was falling back on his chair and screaming, "HOLY JESUS!" Feia could see, and boy was he surprised.
