CHAPTER-7
Erin seemed to be quite throughout the day. She was in her own world. She kept thinking about what Duke had said. Duke had known her for about 1 year. He could read Erin like no one could except for Victor these days.
Erin was scared about the outcome . Could she risk her friendship with Victor ? Would she?.
NEXT MORNING..
Erin woke and got ready for school. As soon as she entered the class she saw Becca with Victor. She noticed a light in her friend's eye. That meant OH! Shoot she likes him. Yup this is just the beginning it seems . Erin thought
"Hey Guys ." Erin said to both Becca and Victor.
"Erin ." Becca said hugging her best friend
Erin couldn't help but hug her back. But only Victor could notice Erin 's eyes. In the short time he had spent with her he could actually tell that she hid pain behind her smile and tears behind her laugh . He made a mental note to ask her when will be alone in the class but never force her into telling her stuff.
Erin knew if her best friend liked her she had to maintain her distance from Victor and hid her crush from him and Becca as she could be quite persistent about things when she wanted something.
Erin gave Victor a reassuring smile and walked away to sit farther away from both of them.
"Hey Erin I thought you wanted to sit with me ?. " Victor couldn't help but ask her
"Hi no I want to be alone." Erin told him and pretended to search for something in her bag.
"Shift." Victor said
As soon as she shifted to the next seat the first thing he asked was " What's wrong and don't fool me Erin you have been distracted since yesterday ."
" Why do you care?."Erin said
" I care because you are my friend. Please tell me what's wrong Erin. If you trust and then tell me please." Victor said
" I will just give me some time ." Erin said and smiled
"Thank god ! Now come and sit with us ." Victor said smiling
~~~~DURING THE CLASS~~~~
" Okay class today we have a new student his name is Shane. Please make him feel welcomed and comfortable." Our teacher said
"Hey guys should I invite him here?." Victor said looking at B and Erin.
"Sure ." Becca said
" I guess ." Erin said
"Hey Shane you want to join us?." Victor said
"Sure ." Shane said
"Hi my name is Shane ." Shane said
"Becca." Becca said shaking his hand
"Erin." Erin said giving a small wave
"Hey my name is Victor and these girls are my friends." Victor said smiling
Throughout the day they kept talking and talking and talking
