Strong
Far too long
Have I had to be strong
The wall in my eyes
Holding back my cries
Is soon to break
The smile
Is soon to fall
But I’ll still stand tall
As the tear slides down my cheek
I seek
For light
For might
For just another sight
I don’t want to be strong
Just once in a while I want to fall
But I can’t
And I shan’t
For I am strong
