Boredom & Doodles

Doodles. They're funny. They're a distraction. It's when your pencil follows your wild imagination command. And at times, artistic. It's a boredom reliever. And unfortunately, I'm scarred to ever draw doodles ever again.

It was in 8th grade.  So I as an incredible artist would express my boredom by writing:

"I'm so bored. I'm so bored!"

"Someone please help me!"

"Someone please shoot me now!"

"911!"

Of course I would write this in different dreading fonts such as Valium, Frank Knows, and etc.. In other words very dramatic. As if it wasn't enough, I would draw dead doodles. Theatrical!

Good for my, and mine only, entertainment, right?  Well, if you were ever a middle school child then you would understand that as middle school kids, teachers still checked our journals for notes.

I, an incredible simpleton, certainly was aware of this..... Not!

So when the weekly journal check was done, I didn't expect for my teacher to actually respond to my pleas and I quote:

"I am terribly sorry you feel this way about my class. I hope to make it more fun in the future."

The rest of the year as you can imagine; I was 100% focused not so much for being interested on the lecture but rather out of burdened obligation. I could never look at my teacher the same way ever again. /_\
