I opened up my book and jotted down my notes for that class.
During lunch I saw Zane in the conner all alone like usual, I grabbed
my lunch tray and walked over to Zane. I sat right beside him. I fiddled
around with the soup.
“I heard from the preps that you were into street fighting... is it
true?” I asked
“Yes I was, and I heard that you were into street dancing?” he
smirked
“Yep, pretty damn good at it to.” I gently slapped his shoulder,
“I would like to see you dance,” he stated
I finished my lunch tray leaving nothing behind,
“Wish I could say the same, but fighting is not my thing. I know
how. Its just that I don’t see the reason for violence. I know how, because,
street dancing is mixed art with street fighting.” I smirked back
we chuckled.
“Well when I get my things from the YMCA today, then when I
come back then, I show you how I can dance.” I smirked back at him
As I was leaving the lunch room two of the trouble makers in the
school came up to me. Their names are C.J. and Kyle. They were street
dancers, when, I was so we had a little group. Back about three years ago.
Ever since I started working. I stopped dancing, so, they’ve been pestering
me ever since. To start again.
“We heard that your Grandfather died... so does that mean your
living in the haunted hotel again?” they asked in unison
“Yep, I’m a little rusty on dancing but I have a plan. Oh and I
have a new recruit for the team.” I said smirkied
I heard them high five each other. They started to follow me like little
puppy dogs. They always did this, it even kept them out of trouble. Their
parents had the most money in the small town. I opened the door to our
next class. Today I sat down beside Zane in Geometry. The other two
looked at each other for a few moments before they sat down on the other
side. Zane had questioning in his eyes. i turned to face him.
“the rule of street dancing team called the Ghosts, is that if you
watch the leader dance you’ve become part of the dance team...” i smirked
evilly towards Zane
Zane had rolled his eyes,
“What ever you say, I can dance just as good as those two.” he
pointed to my team members.
I snickered, but looked back to the teacher who was starting the
lesson. I finished the Geometry test with an A+, Zane a B-, the other two
failed. I asked if they needed help with the lesson. They refused. Stupid
men taking no when help is given to them...
*Time skip*
I was making into the YMCA with Zane, we walked through, my boss
stopped me.
“I heard that he didn’t make it. I’m dearly sorry, if you need
time to recover then take as long as you need...” he patted my shoulder.
“Thank you, I came to gather my things I left a few days ago,
Don’t worry I found a place with a roof to sleep,” I smiled up at him.
He nodded his head allowing us to pass. Zane stood outside the locker
room, while I gathered my things. I packed up everything locking my locker
up nice and tight and leaving the locker room.
“So how many years did you live in that place again?” he
questioned again,
“About three years, I slept in the same place all three years if
thats what your getting to... I had no need to go into the rooms of that
place, I just went wandering around looking at the kitchen, ballroom, theater
room, dinning area, the lobby, and the pool area. i know just about each
place you could hide in that place.” i smirked back at him.
We both got onto our bikes and started pedaling towards the old hotel.
I smirked at it in the moon light gave the erie look that scared most teens
away, but it lured me into it for some odd reason.
We rested our bikes in the foyer, after that we walked down the main
hallway. We had figured out most of the names of the scaring mob. The
leaders name was Henry, he was around 18 when he died in the fire long
ago. But he was always changing and adapting to modern world.
“Hey, Henry, Can I speak with you about something...” i asked
the ghost
He looked down at me and sighed but drifted down from his buddies
and was standing in front of me waiting,
“My old dance group is coming so would you be nice and let
them pass to night. You remember; C.J. and Kyle right?” I asked
“Yep, there already waiting in the ballroom, no need to tell me
these things you know, I can read your mind” he smirked but drifted back to
his buddies
We walked to two large hickory doors. Zane grabbed the handle to
one I grabbed the other. we gently pushed as the door slowly creaked open.
Music was already playing on the other side. I smiled as the song was from
C.J. mp3 player speakers. They were already warming up with there
surroundings.
The song that was playing was a mix with ‘do it again’ (by, Danny
Sorrow), ‘take it off’ (by Kesha), ‘hot mess’ (by Cobra Starship)
I smiled as I front flipped off the grand stair case. I dropped down
landing in the splits then pulling myself up to run striaght at them.
