Danielle Richmond and Nate Stevens are best friends, in fact, it's hard to even think of one without the other. So, as you can imagine, when Danielle's Mom announces that they are moving to England in three days, for a promotion she has accepted, the two are devastated. After saying their teary goodbyes and a million and one promises to keep in touch, the two are separated.
A few months after, the two - used to be - best friends, sadly, lose touch. You know how it starts, with the, 'Oh! I'm so sorry I haven't had the chance to talk to you!'s and the, 'I've had no time to reply to your e-mails, so sorry!'s, and, slowly, the contact just gets lost completely. With Nate and Danielle on opposite sides of the world, how could their friendship survive?
Seven years later, and Danielle's Mom has just been appointed as CEO of the company she works for. Plus, she has a surprise for Danielle, she is moving the headoffice back to America, back to their old home and, most importantly, back to Nate.
Once Danielle reaches 'home', though, she finds things have changed. Nate is now going out with the girl who used to be their arch enemy, a slut and a bitch who goes by the name of Kayla. He is (Of course) the jerk-face player of the school. Danielle's coming home surprises him, but will it be enough to change things back to how they used to be? Especially after all those years of not talking to each other. It's a near impossible task, stress on near impossible... But who better to take on the task, than his old best friend, whom he never went anywhere without?
Danielle Richmond is determined to get Nate's old self back. And once she's determined, nothing gets in the way of what she wants.
