Had a great time today, think we can do it again sometime?
It took all of Tiffany's self control not to reply immediately. After all, she couldn't look like she was waiting for the text. Of course, she was waiting.
All she had done that afternoon was sit by her phone and pray to the Lord above that he would text her. Never in her life had she seen such a beautiful boy. And not just attractive, but sweet as well. He was polite, something most guys that come through her job were not. She couldn't stop thinking about him. The way his smile was slightly crooked and the way that his eyes crinkled when he smiled. The way he through his head back in laughter as he tried to impress the record exects at lunch. The way he had hummed along to the radio as they drove downtown. God, what was that song?
Two minutes. That's a good amount of time to wait before replying right? God, she hoped so. He fingers hovered over the keyboard, trying to decide what to say. Is an emoji appropriate? Is that coming on too strong? God, what are the rules of emoji use??? After reading the message 30 times, Tiffany took a deep breath and pressed "send."

Niall's heart skipped a beat when he felt his phone buzz on the couch cushion beside him. He tore himself away from the soccer game playing loudly on the TV to read the message he prayed was from Tiffany.

Would love to! Pick me up tomorrow at 6?
Niall couldn't help but smile as he read the message from the beautiful girl. And he couldn't help but let that smile grow and he typed out his reply.
