I didn't know what to do. I really should have been waiting there for Meryl to wake up instead of running off to go see how Tanith was. I mean sure I care about Tanith but I love Meryl. Meryl was released from the hospital three days after she woke up. I decided that now is the right time to visit her . I knocked on her door. She answered it. "Meryl, we need to talk" I said. "We do" she agreed and let me come inside. We sat down at her kitchen table. "Meryl, I can't express how sorry I am for what I did back at the hospital. Meryl, I am in love with you. I have been waiting to tell you this for a long time now." "I love you too, Charlie." she said. "Well in that case. Meryl I love you with all my heart. So now that we both know how we feel about each other, I never want to be away from you." I slowly got down on one knee. "Meryl, will you marry me?"
