8. No z's and drinks

"Zoeyyyyyy" said Addy coming back from a run. She'd gone looking for some food with Mack and they'd just come back.
"Hola" I say back. She then hands me her back pack. I give her a confused look
"New clothes" she said smiling. I hugged her
"You is a life saver girl" I said making her chuckle. I walked over to the van and kicked Murphy out of it which he wasent to pleased about.

In no time at all I was dressed in a white dress which stopped mid-thigh and a green jacket. Wow, I look weird in a dress. I climbed out the van and walked over to 10k and Mack.
"Hey guys, did I miss anything?" I asked
"Shot a few z's b-woah" 10k said as he turned around to look at me. I giggled and Mack looked at me
"Song Bird...you look like a girl" said Mack in a shocked voice. I punched him in the shoulder and he started rubbing the spot
"At least I don't punch like one." I went over to Cassandra. She'd got hurt pretty bad in the leg and niw had an infection
"Hey Cas, you ok?" I said sitting next to her. She smiled weakly at me before nodding her head.
"Come on guys, time to go back on the roud" called Warren. We all got in the van. I sat next to 10k and he grabbed my hand
"You look cute in a dress" he said smiling at me.
"Call me cute again and I'll end up attending my boyfriends funaral which I really don't want to do" I said smirking evily at him. He chuckled before starring out of the window again. Man, it felt good to call him my boyfreind.

A few hours later and we started to pass signs. The first one read 'no z's' and the secand one read 'alchoal'. This got Warrens attention. She seemed down lately. I leaned over to Doc
"Hey Doc?" I said
"Yeah kid?"
"Whats up with Warren?" I asked. He sighed and made sure she couldn't her us
"Another guy used to be with us. He was called Charles Garnett. He turned. They sorta had a thing going on" said Doc. I nodded as the van pulled up in a parking lot.

We went up to a desk
"7" said the women
"7 what?" Asked Doc
"Bullets, Oxy or any other D.I.Y materials you got" she said. The next thing I knew a guy called Sketchy arrived and got us in. Warren went straight to the bar. Uh oh! Then I see a sign
"Hey look, K, a compatition for a gun. Looks like your kinda thing" I say pulling him over to have a look.
"Awesome! I'm definatly entering that" he said grinning. So thats what he did. I stood with him as he set up his riffle and a girl around our age was setting up next to him. 10k went to speak to her but she quickly cut him off
"I don't need to know who you are to beat you." He turned to me and I just shrugged.

I went to the bar to check on Warren
"You ok?" I said placing a hand on her shoulder. She looked up at me
"Yeah, hey Zoey, don't let go of 10k" Warren said her vouce shaking. I nodded and got out of there. She needed time alone. Once outside I looked around to see 10k charging at me. He picked me up and carried on running.
"What are you doing?" I asked raising my voice a little. Then I saw them, z's everywhere. Warren ran out of the bar and everyone climbed into a different truck.
"Here" said Mack tossing me my backpack. Still over 10k's shoulders I grabbed it and held on tight.
"Can you put me down now? Were in the truck" I asked 10k. He slowly put me down in my seat but still held me close to him.
"Are you ok?! Are hurt?!" He asked me his voice filled with concern and a worrid experssion on his face.
"I'm fine! What happened?" I asked him
"I don't know. One minete I'm winning the contest and the next minete theres z's everywhere and I couldn't see you and I started to panic-" he said. I cut him off though with a quick peck on the lips. He smiled shyly
"I'm okay. Wait, if you won wheres the gun?" I said looking in the truck. It was no where in sight
"The girl who was next to me,her and her dad needed it more so I gave it to her" he said looking down. I shot him a sympathetic look and snuggled into him, my head on his chest.

(A/N) Hi! I know this chapter is written super badly but I am so tired. Hey, at least I updated it, thats better than nothing right?

I cannot wait for season 3 to start. I need some awnsers to some very important quistions...
