"Gail?" Someone is shaking me, causing pain in various parts of my body. "Abigail, wake up!"

"Dem, she's not waking up" I recognize Demi's panicked voice. "Why would you let her walk alone?"

"I didn't know anything would happen." He says flatly, but with a hint of concern.

"Abigail, please." Demi begs. I keep trying to answer and open my eyes but I can't manage.

"Where did you find her?" He asks.

"In Mad's backyard.  Kellan and I were just coming back and we heard her scream. Then we saw her just laying there. . . shaking." She replies. I feel her warm hand caressing my cheek.

I felt so confused and out of it, like having woken up from a terrible vivid nightmare.  Thoughts were racing through my mind.  So I wasn't in Nightmare Land waiting to be tortured and possibly killed? Had I imagined everything? It all felt so real.  I'm so sure of it.  It couldn't it have been a figment of my imagination, there is no way of that.

I finally managed to regain control of my body, my eyes finally opened, but the brightness of the room made me wince. I see everyone staring down at me with deep concern in their eyes. Before I have the chance to say anything, Demi leans over me and embrace me tightly.

"Thank God you're okay." She says with a sigh of relief as we part.

"What happened?" I ask, unsure of whether I'm imagining all of this or if I'm back to the reality of my nightmare. I vividly remember being there, listening to that things ungodly voice, it's piercing red eyes and the pressure on my chest. Instinctively my hand flies up to my chest, feeling the area around my heart. I winced immediately, still feeling the impression of that hard press that thing left on my chest.

"We heard you scream, and when we found you, you were just laying on the ground." Kellan explains.

"Tell us what happened." Demi asks, imperative. "Why did you scream? What did you see?"

"I. . . I don't know. . ." I mumble, still pressing my palm on my chest. I contemplate telling them, but who's to say they'll believe me. Hell, I barely believe myself.

"I thought I saw something... It took me somewhere..."

My words are received with blank stares coupled with confusion in their eyes. I, myself, shake my head in confusion. "Never mind, I'm just tired. This is really messing with my head, I should go home."

Kellan interjects firmly. "No, Abby. I don't think you should be alone right now."  He sounds really concerned.

"You can just sleep here, I'm sure your step dad wouldn't mind." Mad suggests, concern hidden in her voice. "Besides we have research to go over" She gestures to the papers we received from the library laying on her bed. But the last thing I wanted to think of was Nightmare Land, I came to that conclusion.
