Kayla POV
I was down to the last box of unpacking and then I just needed to make my bed , Pandora was speaking to my soul this whole time and then Future played and my inner Trap Queen came out I started dancing around the room singing
" I just fucked your bitch in some Gucci flip flops" couldn't tell me nothing I was an extra on the video I turned around mid dance and my roommate was recording me laughing
" When your new roommate is just as turnt as you are"
She must have been snapping me I laughed at myself and made sure to follow her later on to see the madness I walked over to her and held my hand out

" Excuse my little music video lol future brings out my inner trap queen , I'm Kayla"

She giggled and shook my hand

"Nice to meet you Kayla I'm Aaleeyah "

She was really cute and she was nice so far maybe I lucked up

" Nice to meet you to Aaleyah"

She sat down on her bed and I finished making my bed she was on her phone snap chatting or FT I couldn't tell either way she was talking. I sat down on my phone and FT Darius he didn't answer so I hung up and as soon as I put the phone down he was calling back I fixed myself in the camera and then answered

Hello gorgeous you all settled in now ?
He was so cute I really missed him
Yes baby I am all settled in now I miss you
He blew kisses at me through the camera I could hear his roommate in the back clowning him
Lol well sounds like you two are getting along I just wanted to see your face bae go ahead and have fun I love you D

I ended the FT and Aaleeyah was sitting at the edge of my bed

" Boyfriend back home ?"

" High school sweethearts he's down at Florida state, but we are going to try this long distance thing."

" Well I say if you love him and you think it can work Go for it , me and my ex broke up 2 months before graduation we both decided before we had the chance to hurt each other we would just end things."

" Do you think coming into college in a relationship is a bad idea ?"

" No Kayla a lot of people do it successfully, it's all about trusting the person you are with , plus absence makes the heart grow fonder."

I laughed at her little cliche but she was right because I already missed Darius.

" Well let's not dwell on home life let's take a campus tour you down ?"

" Yes lemme just change first I feel like this is not the first impression I want to make."

" I was thinking the same thing , see we already have things in common."

We both changed into something more casual but cute I grabbed my phone and my clutch and we walked out the room she wrapped her arms in mine and we walked out to the quad

" So Kay let's here or what kind of girl were you in highschool ? "

" Well I was captain of the cheerleading team , an honor student and I dated the quarterback. Prom queen and  valedictorian"

" Princess Kayla you know what that's not the vibe I got from that twerking trap queen "

I laughed And did a mini twerk

" Oh don't get it twisted Aaleeyah im a twerking queen okay , what about you what girl were you in high school ?"

" Well I wasn't cheerleading captain that's for sure but I was miss popularity I was head of the dance team I mean I made as and bs I dated a basketball player but I was known for being a bitch mainly because I protected everyone around me see my Bestfriend she's exactly like you so I had to protect her she can handle herself but she always wants to kill them with kindness and me I'm different lol "

" It's funny you say your best friend was like me and my best friend was just like you"

We walked around and talked we decided to grab food but realized it was too late for the cafe. We were on our way off campus to get food and we ran into Desean and some of his friends he looked in our direction and smiled , I sighed and Leeyah of course pulled us in that direction

" Wassup De I been looking for your peanut head ass all day" she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him

" Kay this is my cousin Desean , Desean this is"

" I know who he is we met briefly earlier and he's the number one wide receiver on the team "

" Oh so someone has done their research on me huh ? It's nice to officially meet you Kay."

" Research on you no but I'm a football fan so I know a thing or two."

He nodded his head and licked his lips

" Beautiful and into sports you the full package ain't you ?"

" Ew can you not hit on my roommate De please ?"

" Lol I was just complimenting her that's all , where you headed anyway ?"

" We are hungry we want to get food but the cafe is closed !"

" Well we were about to go to this little spot you wanna ride with us ?"

" Yeah let's do it Kay you down ?"

" It's kind of late and we have classes in the morning I'm just going to head back but you have fun I'll see you later"

She frowned but then one of the players was smiling all in her face and she was okay they walked towards the car and Desean stayed back

" You sure you don't wanna come with us Kay it'll
Be fun ?"

" It's Kayla and yeah I'm sure have fun tho"

I turned to walk away I could feel him staring at me but I didn't look back he has trouble written all over him and I can tell he's persistent he doesn't give up easily. That's gonna be hard to ignore forever.
