I am your average high school student, or the most bullied one ever since I got to middle school. I've changed schools for more like seven times, now I am a sophomore at a new school, new people and new bullshit. It's my first year at a High School, I was home-schooled last year. As I started getting my feet in my flat shoes my mom started calling.

"Lucille Simpson, you're going to miss your bus!" It's not like I can't just take a cab or ask my father to take me.

"Coming!" I said and got down as fast as I could. I take my lunch and put it in my backpack. Mom has made me pancakes, my favorite. "Thank you mom, for making my breakfast."

"You're welcome, darling." She smiled at me. "Good luck on your first day of school!"

Ten minutes later, I saw my bus coming. I took my bag and my phone then got outside of the house. I got in the bus, I wanted the last seat but I found some girls already sitting on it.

"Oh, the newbie wants to sit here? Shocker, we came first." One of them said, I have no idea who's in the mood to be this mean in the morning. I find a seat in front of them and I sit there.

"Hello, name's Jake." The guy next to me said, damn it, he's very hot. He has emerald eyes, and dimples as deep as the ocean, and oh my god that jawline.

"Hi," I smile at him. I take out my earphones, but I guess he's not done talking.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Lucille, but call me Lucy." I reply, no one calls me Lucille except for my parents. I guess I'm not going to listen to music today.

"Excited for sophomore year?" Jake scoffs, it sure seems he isn't, though.

"Nope, not one bit. I'm sure it would be worse than middle school." I answered, ending with a short, nervous laugh.

"Why's that?" He asked with an innocent face. He actually seems nice, but I'm still not telling him about my past.

"Just a long story." I replied, smiling.

"Then tell me it." He said, is that guy trying to go on a date with me?

"I'd like to keep it a secret" I smiled

"Fine, as you want." He shows his dimples. "We're here, have fun."

"Yeah." I sarcastically agreed and got out of the bus. I take a deep breath as I put on my backpack.

"Welcome Mrs. Simpson to our school, it's such an honor to have you here" The principal smiled at me as I hopped off the bus. I politely smile as well.

"Wait a second, you're Lucy Simpson the daughter of the famous producer William Simpson?" Jake exclaimed.

"Yeah, whatever." I rolled my eyes. My father is William Simpson, I'm just sick of people pointing it out.

"Here you go your locker keys," The principal hands me them, locker 56. "It's one of the big lockers, congrats! I'll get going now, goo luck on your first day!"

"Thanks." Jake replies to the principal for me and I just glare at him. "Sorry, I know I am acting a bit awkward but it's how I am."

"It's alright." I faked a smile at him. This is the first time I find a person who's talking decently to me.

"Friends?" He asked, letting out his hand.

"Friends." I shake his hand.

"See you at lunch." He said as the bell rang. Isn't it a bit soon for that?

"Okay." I reply, slightly suspicious.

As usual everything was boring, now it's time for lunch. I know I shouldn't make stereotypes but ugh, no surprise, the tables were all:
