Carter Jackson, a 17 year old girl is trying out her 5th high school. Going into grade 12, she hates school and tries everything to get kicked out. She's been in both foster homes and group homes her whole life. Her grandparents have just learnt about her and want her to move in with them. Her passion if hockey. It's the only thing she's really good at. At the age of 14, she got diagnosed with Depression, ADHD, ODD, and Bipolar. She has isolated herself throughout the years, and will not trust anyone. When she meets Noah at school, something about him draws him to her. Noah has never met any girl like Carter before, and is determined to try to get her to open up and trust him.
