"Same rules as always," his voice reverberated through the cavern. "Close your eyes, count to sixty, and come find me." 

"Sting." 

"If five minutes have passed and you still haven't found me, I win. If you find me before then, you win." 

"We aren't children anymore," the shadow mage protested, still standing at the mouth of the cave. 

"Are you admitting defeat Rogue Cheney?" He shivered, loving the sound of his name rolling off the other's tongue. 

"No." 

"The clock is ticking." Sighing, he turned round and closed his eyes. 

"One." A laugh came from the depths of the cave.

"Two." 

"I knew you'd come round." 

"Three." 

"You know you love me." I do, he thought. I do.
