CHAPTER2
But Darling...
you are the only exception When I was younger I saw
my daddy cry
and curse at the wind
he broke his own heart
and I watched
as he tried to reassemble it
and my momma swore
that she would
never let herself forget
and that was the day that I promised
I'd never sing of love
if it does not exist
you are the only exception
you are the only exception
you are the only exception
maybe I know somewhere
deep in my soul
that love never lasts
and we've got to find other ways
to make it alone
keep a straight face
and I've always lived like this, keeping a comfortable distance
and up until now I had sworn to myself that I'm content with loneliness
because none of it was ever worth the risk
well you are the only exception
you are the only exception
you are the only exception
you are the only exception
I've got a tight grip on reality
but I can't let go of what's in front of me here
I know you're leaving in the morning when you wake up leave me with some kind of proof it's not a dream
oh oh oh
CHORUS:
you are the only exception
you are the only exception
you are the only exception
you are the only exception
and I'm on my way to believing
oh and I'm on my way to believing
*SONG FINISH*
I love that song and lyrics always get to me. I always love to sing it always makes me feel better whether its rock, pop, or the blues. The people seem to like my sing, I remember when my mom use to sing me to sleep or when I was upset, she had an amazing voice I could listen to her sing all day I miss her so much..........
I just finished counting my money I made a hundred dollars today. I'm so proud of myself today and look like I have enough for some new clothes and blanket. The ones I'm wearing now are kind of old. I walk until I find some civilization, I went the first thing I saw which was Wal-Mart. I got a shirt, sweat pants, hoodie, shorts, jeans, some bra and panties, a new blanket and back pack. I got some water and snacks for while I'm on the road and had 12 dollars left. I went to McDonalds across the street for a warm meal when I bump into some.................
Dylan POV
I was standing in line at a McDonalds when something ran in to my 6.2" frame , I turn around to see who it was. She was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. She long black but it had dirt in it, dark blue eyes, red full kissable lips, tan skin, curvy body, nice chest with long toned legs and a 5.8" frame. But she was mostly covered dirt, she probably homeless.
" sorry. " we said together, then she laugh and I stared adoringly at her because she had a cute laugh, it sound like bells even though it sounds corny it's true. She automatically stop when she realize the way I was staring at her.
"Sorry" she said again in a low voice and was about to leave when I grab her.
"what your name" I asked.
"ummm Alyssa Looks" she repiled shyly.
"Well I'm Dylan Runsfield and it's nice to meet you Alyssa" I kindly said trying to show her I'm friendly. She stuck out her hand for me to shake and I shooke it.
" I would like to see you again if that's ok" I told her handing her my number. I then gave her a warm smile and grab my food.
"by the way you have a cute laugh" I said the last thing i saw before I left was her adorable blush.....?..
