Chapter 2

''Mornin' beautiful.'' Austin smiled as I woke up.

''Mornin' handsome.'' I winked.

Ok, I might have this little crush on Austin.

''What do you want to do today?'' He asked me.

''Um,'' I thought. ''Can we stay home?''

''Sure babe.'' He smiled.

God, I love it when he called me that. It gave me massive butterflies.

''Ashlynn, I have to tell you something.'' Austin looked at me.

I crashed my lips to his. He immidiately pushed back, deepening the kiss.

We both pulled back for breath.

''What does this make us Ashlynn?'' Austin smiled.

''I don't know. You tell me.'' I laughed.

''Ashlynn, I have been holding this in for a long time. I'm truely and madly in love with you. In my eyes, you have flaws, but that is what makes you perfect. It makes you, you. I love you Ashlynn. Will you be my girlfriend?''

''Yes.'' I smiled.

He pulled me in for a hug. I wrapped my arms around his torso, taking in his scent.

I love Austin so much. I have since the first day I met him.

''Ow!!'' I yelled at a brown haired, hazel eyed boy.

''I'm sorry. I didn't mean to kick you when you walked past the swings.''

I was just a five year old. Enjoying my day at the park. Until I walked past the swings and some boy kicked me in the head.

''It's ok. I won't die.''

''I'm Austin.''

''I'm Ashlynn.'' We hugged eachother.

''I think your really pretty!'' He blurted out.

I blushed.

''I think your kinda cute.'' I smiled.

''One day, we will date.'' He winked at me.

I gave him a kiss on the cheek and walked away.

''Why are you smiling?'' Austin sat next me.

''Do you remember, the last thing you said to me when we met?'' I asked him.

''No.''

''You said one day we would date.''

''I guess I was right.'' He smiled as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

''I love you Austin.''

''I love you too Ashlynn.''

We leaned in for a kiss. Our lips connected. I felt all the crazy butterflies and fireworks and all the cliche stuff.

We sat in a comfortable silence. Until my stomach made a dying walrus sound.

Austin giggled.

''I'm a little hungry.'' I smiled.

Austin grabbed my hand. ''C'mon.''

We walked downstairs.

''Finally?!'' Michele asked.

''What?'' I was kinda shocked.

''You two are together? Finally?!'' She gave us a hug.

''Mom! You're embarrassing me!!'' Austin blushed.

''Ashlynn, you are all he talks about!''

''Mother!!'' Austin was tomato red.

''I think it's cute.'' I giggled.

''Well, in that case, you are all I talk about.'' He smirked.

''Dork.''

I went into the kitchen.

I went through the fridge. I found some watermelon.

''Michele?! Can I cut this watermelon?!'' I shouted.

''Sure Ashlynn!'' She shouted back.

I cut it up. I put some on a plate and went back to Austin's room.

''Hey.'' He said when he looked up to see me.

''What's up?''

''What do you mean?''

''Austin, we are best friends. I know when you are sad.'' I smiled.

**Austin's POV**

''TAYLOR'S BACK IN TOWN?!'' I yelled into my phone at Alex.

Taylor is my ex. I hate her. She cheated on me. Multiple times. I never wanted to see her face again.

''Yeah. I saw her walking in the mall.'' Alex said through the other end.

''Fuck!'' I hung up.

Ashlynn walked in.

''Hey.'' I said when she walked in.

''What's up?''

''What do you mean?'' I asked.

''Austin, we are bestfriends. I know when something is wrong.''

''Ok. Taylor is back.''

Ashlynn hated Taylor for what she did to me. Ashlynn could have sent that bitch to the hospital if I hadn't have been there that night.

''What the fuck is your problem?!'' Ashlynn yelled in Taylor's face.

''Nothing. Nothing is my problem. In fact, my life is perfect.'' Taylor smirked.

''Oh. You fucking slut. You definitely have problems. Your about to get one more.''

Ashlynn punched Taylor in the jaw. I can still hear the crack Taylor's jaw made to this day.

''Babe!'' I pulled Ashlynn back.

''Austin. Let me go.'' She growled at me.

''No. Your going to put her in the hospital.''

''Exactly.'' She almost got free.

''Nope. Come on.'' I said dragging her.

''You'll never find a girl like me.'' Taylor said as we walked away.

I turned around.

''I sure to hell hope not.'' I said and walked away.

**Ashlynn's POV**

My phone vibrated. I saw Alex pop up on the screen. I opened the text.

Alex: Please promise you won't do anything to Taylor.

Ashlynn: Can't promise that Alex.

Alex: Why not?

Ash: Because. I can never forgive her for what she did to Austin. And I didn't finish the first time.

Alex: Whatever. Just don't get arrested.

Ash: I won't (:

He didn't text back.

''Why not?''

''Because of what she did to you. She never should've gotten away with it in the first place. She was lucky you were there.''

''I got a text asking if we wanted to hang out today.''
