Up here it seems malaise pervades the air,

And living takes the pleasures out of you,

Nothing's ever just and nothing's fair,

Let's see if I can sell you: Midnight Blue

The walk across the water hurt like hell,

And crucifixion failed me, I am through.

Triplicate trouble, well that's just as well,

I guess I can pay for some: Midnight Blue

You sorrow remotus, in terni, I've heard,

In a year you shall say “'Twas then I withdrew!”

Are you off kilter? Unbalanced or blurred?

You'll feel uplifted by my: Midnight Blue

Cattle are lowing, as light falls apace,

A soft haze comes in to my field of view,

Suddenly, rapidly, flying through space,

It's the color of ennui: Midnight Blue
