Chapter 7.1
Anna didn't know where she was going.
She just went.
She didn't realize how much she'd loved Travis
She didn't realize how much she'd needed him
She didn't realize how much she missed their walks
She didn't realize how many times she'd laughed with him
She didn't realize how many times she'd cried with him
She didn't realize how many times she'd fell for him
She also didn't realize how far she had walked
And how calm yet cold the Ontario air was
And how she couldn't tell the difference between her breathe and the cigarette smoke
She also hadn't realized that she'd walked all the way to her old university.
And how the college campus was so beautiful at night
And how much she'd wished she hadn't been a drop out.
The last thing she failed to realize, was that she wasn't alone.
Their were two voices muttering on a bench.
Their laughs were followed by shushing and more laughs.
And Anna couldn't help but smile at the two figures.
"You know you could easily get caught out here, right?" Anna walked up to the blonde boy who wore an oatmeal colored, stitched sweater and washed blue jeans and the red haired girl who wore an oversized flannel and ripped white shorts.
"Where's the fun in considering consequences?" Replied the girl who turned to face Anna.
Anna laughed and handed a cigarette to each of them, in return the boy handed her a flask and an introduction. "I'm Gary. This is Lauren" he said referring to the girl.
